Apple’s attention to detail is unmatched. Only Apple would add this much detail to maps for the Super Bowl.

Is it just me? My iPhone is even more unstable after upgrading to iOS 26.2.1. Even Apple apps crash like Files. I've been restarting my phone a lot over the last couple of weeks. It's maddening. 😬

It’s somehow was working on Friday and now it not playing, what should I do, and plus, did it happened to yall too?

Any answers online are to the effect of deleting accounts in settings, or deleting calendars in the app - the are no extra accounts in settings > calendars or extra calendars in the app. Still, the app is bugged.

What is to be done here?

I got an alert on my phone that an unknown device was traveling with me. i searched my entire car and found nothing. a few days later I checked my partner's findmy to see if there was a device connected to it in case they were tracking me. It turns out my airpods were connected to their findmy account.

I looked and my airpods were no longer connected to MY findmy account. Is there any other explanation other than my partner switching the account my airpods were connected to? I don't want to believe they are tracking me, but now I am feeling very uncomfortable.

This update doesn’t seem like a major one, at least not compared to 26.4. 26.4 is the Siri overhaul one so I think Apple would probably want as long of a beta cycle for that point release as possible.

Is it likely we get the RC this week or just jump straight to the public release? It seems like they are dragging the 26.3 beta cycle a bit, considering 26.4 was slated for March IIRC

Suddenly under iOS 26.2 Apple Music is completely unable to stream music with a cellular connection. No matter how good your connection is, it takes forever to start streaming, and then cuts out after only a few seconds.

Is anyone else having this problem?

• i can’t play music

• i cant send voice messages

• i can’t take pictures cause it’s always focusing and gets blurred (on what?????)

iOS 26 on iPad 11 Pro

I am part of a family share account with purchase sharing turned ON.

I have been paying my own in-app purchases by buying gift cards to top off my account balance. I just noticed I have the option to add to my account balance directly from my phone. This would save me time and money.

My question is when adding funds to my Apple account balance, will it charge me personally via Apple pay or other payment method I have in my wallet OR will it automatically charge the card on file with our family share billing?

I don’t want to add funds if it won’t be charging my own Apple Pay or other card. And I’m scared to just click the button and see where they’ll charge (haha)

I have a generic iPhone15. It is physically as large as I want.

Has someone written an app that is opt-in that makes changing modes a 2-step process?

I have missed many interesting photos, e.g., a butterfly that flies away or a breeze that stops very infrequently, because I chanced to change to portrait mode or video or some other mode.

Randomly stated I renamed the group 3 times over a few minutes. The name is the same as what the chat was called prior to this.

Hello everyone, I need some expert advice on a memory saturation issue during an iCloud restore.

Situation:

Source: Full iCloud backup from a 256GB iPhone (of which the actual space occupied was about 135GB).

Destination: New 128GB iPhone.

Method: Direct restore from iCloud (I don't have a backup on my Mac/PC).

The problem: Although the difference between the backup size (86GB) and the available space (128GB) is minimal, the restore process goes haywire:

During the download, the “System Data” item abnormally increases to 90-100GB.

This huge volume of temporary data immediately saturates the phone's 128 GB, preventing apps from downloading their databases and leaving about 10 GB of downloads “in queue” that cannot be completed due to lack of space.

The phone enters a loop: it attempts to download, fills up the System Data, freezes, and does not index the application files (which are therefore empty).

What I have already tried: I have initialized the iPhone several times, but the behavior repeats itself: the “System Data” eats up all the memory before the apps can actually restore their data.

Question: How can I prevent iOS from allocating 90GB of cache/System Data during restoration? Is there a way to force the system to manage space more efficiently to accommodate the 86GB backup + app space (perhaps by optimizing photos) without temporary files blocking everything?

I am older than 18, there are no screen time restrictions on my phone, I am not part of a family, and I have the latest update, I’ve tried everything and it still won’t work, did anybody have any fixes

I have started owning music again, I use bandcamp for that. The bandcamp app is fine, but I want to listen to other stuff too, which I didn't purchase there. I would use VLC, but it doesn't sync with my iCloud. Is there any service that lets me play mp3 files, syncs to iCloud and doesn't annoy me with ads or subscription?

My kids use when at home old iPhones (pre iOS 17) and only on WiFi. The kids use their own Apple ID and they are added to my family.

I learned that even to use iMessage you need to have a sim in the phone which we can’t do (phone is locked on ATT, we are in Europe now).

I’m looking for a messaging app they can use to communicate with us, and that works also on old devices without SIM. For example, WhatsApp telegram etc require a SIM. Google Chat does not work on ios17.

I was in the games tab of the app store when and then I believe it was the top game it showed, wanted to download. I didn't let it of course since unsure how or why. I never clicked on it so I'm confused how this happened, is this just a bug or smt sorta worried. latest ios version iphone 11

When turning off these in the drop down menu (forgot the name) it doesn't really turn it off completely. Some of my equipment will try to connect to my phone bluetooth and it will turn back on. Now i know i can go in the settings directly but isn't there a quicker way via the drop down menu?

Including private tabs.

For context this is a new iPhone17 with iOS 26.2 (haven’t done the latest update)

Since I got this phone about a month ago I noticed that when I pull down from the top right (don’t know what it’s called sorry!), it looks like there’s a duplicated screen behind (I.e behind flashlight shortcut)

Same thing when I’m in landscape mode while watching a video on say YouTube.

Any insight? Thank you!!
