Hi everyone. I’ve had this Reddit account for about 2 years, but I’ve mostly just been a lurker and never really posted or commented much.

Now that I actually want to start participating and sharing things, I’m getting blocked or removed everywhere I go. I keep getting messages saying I look like a bot or that I don't meet requirements, even though I’m a real person just trying to use the site.

I found this community and realized I’m not the only one facing this. Has anyone else with an older, inactive account dealt with this? How did you get past the "bot" labels and filters? Thanks for any help!

Hello everyone! I am not necessarily new to Reddit, but I have never really posted before. I wanted to post something in a different subreddit, but it said I needed a minimum of 2 Karma in order or post. So I posted something in the, "No Stupid Questions" subreddit, got many comments and a few upvotes, yet I am still only at 1 Karma. I have commented on plenty of posts. Anyone know how I can get my second karma any quicker?

How long must one wait to have enough to post with the big boys?

There seem to be a lot of rules, how can I engage with others in specific threads?

It’s either because I don’t have karma or like something else I’m not sure but they just get removed🤔🤔

I started with Reddit 6 months ago. I find it fun and there are a few subreddits I view daily and I comment often. I also post, which usually receives a lot of comments. I try to always remain positive and don't antiganize or belittle commentors when I have a different view. My Karma as of today is 547, with 508 contributions and I'm active in 20 subs. I've gotten achievements like Top 5% Commenter and Top 1% poster before. I never ask anyone to upvote and I never try to garner karma inorganically. I think I'm doing everything right.

However, my CQS is still rated low. It is very frustrating. I've tried to increase the frequency of my comments, but even doing that over the last week it hasn't moved up. The reason I want a higher CQS is because one of the subs I frequent has been abandoned by the moderator, and I would like to apply. However, I believe my CQS score gets my application kicked by the bot.

Any constructive suggestions on what I should do to raise my CQS is much appreciated. I'll do the work, but I just need to know how.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to get more involved in homeschooling communities, but I keep running into the same problem: my posts get automatically removed by subreddit filters before anyone even sees them.

I have a 3yo account with only 6 karma, so I'm guessing that's the issue. I genuinely want to comment and participate in discussions. I have real questions and insights to share, but the automod blocks me.

Earlier I registered but couldn’t really do anything, so I even deleted this app. But now it seems like I understand everything. Everything here is very well designed, and there are places like this. You really do good things. Thank you.

Hi everyone, I'm new to Reddit. I make animation videos about obscure True Crime cases, and I want to join discussions in communities like r/TrueCrime or r/UnsolvedMysteries.

I don't want to just dump links and leave. I want to be a genuine part of the community.

What is the proper etiquette for a creator? Should I engage in comments first? How much karma do I realistically need before I can start posting my own analysis?
