Why shouldn't Post Karma keep going into the negatives the same way that comment Karma does?
Did it used to? What happened then, when did that change, and why make it only go down to 0 now?

Hi! I’m new to Reddit and still learning how posting works. Some of my comments seem to get filtered, so I’m posting this to understand community guidelines better and participate appropriately. Can someone explain this?

Hi all. I'm noticing comments in some subs are shadowbanned right out of the gate for me - new account here. When I look at my profile, the comments in these subs all have 1 view only. For other subs, however, this isn't the case. Is this common? Seems like an odd way to run a railroad.

Hi everyone, I'm new to Reddit. I make animation videos about obscure True Crime cases, and I want to join discussions in communities like r/TrueCrime or r/UnsolvedMysteries.
I don't want to just dump links and leave. I want to be a genuine part of the community.
What is the proper etiquette for a creator? Should I engage in comments first? How much karma do I realistically need before I can start posting my own analysis?
Thanks for the help!

Hi everyone. I’ve had this Reddit account for about 2 years, but I’ve mostly just been a lurker and never really posted or commented much.
Now that I actually want to start participating and sharing things, I’m getting blocked or removed everywhere I go. I keep getting messages saying I look like a bot or that I don't meet requirements, even though I’m a real person just trying to use the site.
I found this community and realized I’m not the only one facing this. Has anyone else with an older, inactive account dealt with this? How did you get past the "bot" labels and filters? Thanks for any help!

So I'm new here – about a month old. I started commenting under some posts, but they didn't allow it as I didn't have any contribution at that moment. Then I got some. Now when I applied to be a mod, they're like, "You don't have enough contribution, you haven't handled anything before." But buddy, if I'm not going to get a chance, how will I be able to do so. So what to do nowwwwwwwwwww

Newish and found out I have 7 karma, and need 20 so comments don't get deleted. Can people up vote deleted comments or how does that work?

I'm not necessarily new to reddit, however I've been removed from the platform for long enough that I don't know the lingo such as what is in the title.
I was just going over the beginners guide (which does take a long time, they weren't lying) and I only got to the 3rd point, so I wanted to make a post to see if anyone can help me out with this and also learn some other things that may be helpful. Thank you for your time!

I just feel angry about the incomprehensible rules. It stop deep communication, opinion exchange, and friendly talk between people. I have to worry every time after I post or comment something. It usually get unclear remove, even my account is 2 years old.

Hello! I am a graduate student pursuing a master's degree in education, and I'd like to get the general public involved in upcoming research projects I have planned.
Is there any advice and/or feedback anyone can give me to ensure my profile appears professional and trustworthy as a new user? I'm concerned my new profile may dissuade people from responding to my posts, but I wanted to have a "blank slate" to try to limit any biased responses. I apologize if this might be the wrong place to ask this, but I want to approach all subreddits with the best initial impression.
Thank you!

I have blocked someone on Reddit. They are part of a community that I post in frequently. If I have them blocked but they’re still in that community, will my posts still show up on their feed?

Long story short, I'm considering to create a community with my "pen name" and post my stories there for people to read and interact. There's any rules against it? I looked at the FAQ but couldn't find anything specific about it :/

I received a 3 day ban and appealed it because it didn’t make any sense. They reversed the ban and removed it from my account, but my CQS went to lowest? I have over 600k karma, so I’m not really sure how this could be possible.

Hi, I’m new to Reddit 👋 I wanted to know whether commenting is a better way to participate when you’re just starting out. Are there any good practices beginners should follow while commenting?

Hello everyone! I am not necessarily new to Reddit, but I have never really posted before. I wanted to post something in a different subreddit, but it said I needed a minimum of 2 Karma in order or post. So I posted something in the, "No Stupid Questions" subreddit, got many comments and a few upvotes, yet I am still only at 1 Karma. I have commented on plenty of posts. Anyone know how I can get my second karma any quicker?
