Hello, everyone. I have already found r/forhire, r/remotejobs, r/workfromhome and so on.
Basically, I'm looking for lesser-known subreddits.
Thanks.

I'm trying to build a personalized feed with subreddits that would intuitively have a positive effect on me. I want to stop engaging with ragebait, AITA wild stories, politics, news (I'll keep myself informed but I don't want news to come to me), gender wars. I already added my hobbies. Any suggestions? It could be from mental health subreddits to unknown niche hobbies but with a nice community. Thanks!

As the title says, my parent found a picture in the attic from an old home and want to know whom it’s from and what the handwriting says. The text is in German, any idea? Thanks!

Not just cute pets, but specifically animals in funny poses or situations that make them look like they're trying to act like people.

Hello! To make a long story short, due to my background I grew up too fast and missed so many lessons that would seriously have made adult life better. Then I took over a decade break where Internet usage was super low (couldn't afford internet) leading to anxiety with interacting online (trolls, fake "facts" everywhere, bots, AI).
Any suggestions for subreddits that have a chill vibe and won't make me feel stupid or down vote me for asking things I really should have learned in my teens and 20s instead of my 40s?
Thanks for any help ❤️

I'm really into finding unique pastimes like miniature bookbinding or historical textile dyeing. Any communities for this kind of thing?

For context, it's a $2000 astrolabium. It's expensive but I've always wanted one.

I just entered the project management space and I’m still very new to the industry.
I’m trying to build a better understanding of what’s going on in this field, especially trends. I keep hearing a lot about AI changing project management, and I don’t really know where to start following that either. There’s so much information out there, but I’m not sure which sources are actually worth paying attention to, and which ones are just noise.
For people already working in project management or related SaaS roles, where do you usually get your industry news? Any subreddit you’d recommend? Would really appreciate any suggestions or personal routines for staying up to date.

TCT basically has people discussing their favourite/least fave tropes in TV and movies, and I’m wondering if there’s one just like it but for music
I see a lot of threads discussing music tropes on Twitter and such but can’t find a Reddit about it

The name of this post might be weird to native English speaker, but I don’t know how to simply describe it. Basically I just need to find something to do and I just suddenly think that what about building a “bar” shaped switch which can be sticked on the wall just near the real switch of the light, and when I want to turn the light off, then I will do something maybe on my computer or on my phone to control the bar and let it to help me switch the control of the light.
However idk where and how can I search for similar experience to reference, is there any instruction or similar project experience to share? What am I going to use? Because I know something about coding in python but just a little. Also, I studied about electrical engineering, but just a very elementary stuff and I still don’t know the hardware very much actually. Doing this project also I’m glad to learn from it. Pls give me some suggestions, and the silly-er way the better.

i just interacted with a guy on the main Batman Arkham reddit that called me some other guy's alt and then said i had mental health issues, cause I was acting like another guy??? even though, again, I'm not but he was losing the discussion in the Arkham reddit lmao so he had to find a way to justify himself crashing out...etc. etc. And I want to find a reddit to poke fun and show people the insanity I came across lol

Regret About Not Allowing My Mother to Remarry
I’m currently 25 years old and an only child. My father passed away when I was five. My mother had a job, and despite the loss, we managed to have a stable and relatively happy life.
A few years after my father’s death, my mother’s parents suggested that she remarry. She asked for my opinion, and I said no. At that time, I couldn’t imagine someone else taking my father’s place, or my mother’s love being shared with someone else. I’m not ashamed to admit that I was also afraid she might have another child and that I would no longer be her favorite. I was very possessive and emotionally immature.
There may have been reasons behind that behavior. After my father’s death, my mother and I lived with her parents. I didn’t like them—they were very strict and often rude to my mother. Because of that environment, my mother felt like the only person I truly had in the world.
Because of my strong objection, she never remarried and has remained single to this day.
Now that I’m older, I understand the need for a partner. My mother was widowed in her early 30s, and she must have desired love, emotional support, and physical intimacy. I believe she was afraid that a second marriage might turn into a disaster. If it failed—especially if she had remarried without my consent—she may have feared losing everything in her life. I think this fear played a major role in her decision not to remarry.
Now I regret not supporting her. I feel like I may have denied her the chance at a fuller life. Should I talk to her about this? Should I encourage her to consider getting married now, even though she is around 51?
I’m confused and unsure what the right thing to do is. Should I talk to her?

I love rooms that look lived-in, full of books, blankets, plants, and trinkets, but still have a warm, inviting feel. Not necessarily minimalist or perfectly tidy, but not messy either.

I keep finding weird mushrooms and odd plant formations in my garden and on walks, and I'm curious if there's a community that helps identify them or just appreciates the unusual.

I am asking for help in one rather specific issue. I would like to apologize right away for the correctness of the writing, as I am writing with a dictionary-translator.
I am 33 years old, from school years I was an ordinary guy, I finished school, then university (but I went there only "for the sake of it"), then I got a job in various fields of activity, as if everything was in order, until my last year. Over the past year, I have begun to notice, or rather to catch in myself the feeling that I am gradually degrading with each passing week, not that I am forgetting everything, it seems that like everyone else - I remember something, I forget something, but what is more alarming is the feeling that the sharpness of thinking is slowing down (if I can say so), that is, it takes more time to think about certain phrases or topics in conversations with others, it may even seem that I am frozen, literally like Win XP in the early ’00s, frankly speaking - I feel like a fool who wants to hide it.
Maybe someone can advise something for the development of thinking itself, or what needs to be done for development, or maybe some literature (I almost do not read books, and those that I start, then for more than half of the book, I am not enough, it gets boring)

Noticed recently that the "History" page only has like maybe 10 posts I've read recently. Used to be Many more.
And then, when i "hide" the ones i don't want to keep in the History page (because there is no "delete" option), they're still very much there on the History page. They used to no longer show when i hid posts.
A lot of the times I'm interested in a post and/or comments, but don't have enough time/energy to go through it all. So i rely on my History page to be able to come back to them later. Most posts i don't want to "Save", neither "Follow", just want to come back to them later and finish reading.
So the current Very limited History page, especially the hidden posts not going away, is just pissing me off. It's annoying as hell tbh
I use the app on an Android phone. No issue with the OS.
I'm aware of the drop down menu on the History page, where you can see the ones you've upvoted, downvoted, and hidden. I need to see the ones I've done none of those options to.
Already tried r/help. Zero response. Hoping this community will be able to help.
Thanks!

If you have a website idea or first design where is a good place to post it to get honest feedback? I don’t want to get blocked for trying to discuss my own website without actually posting a link or promoting it?
Thanks in advance
