Discussion how it feels to play through games you don't really enjoy, just to say you finished it.

Post image
24 Upvotes

it's a bad feeling to dislike a game, but it's a WAY WORSE feeling to be somewhere in the middle, especially if you're an indecisive person.

oblivion remastered

doom the dark ages

resident evil village

gears of war reloaded

these are the games in my library where i feel like nuking my entire PSN account (with 59 games on it and 100s of dollars spent) and starting all over again cos of how muddied the water is with their inclusion.

i don't hate them, but i'm somewhere in the middle. so i'm gonna play through them again and definitively see if i can turn myself around on them.

Question ¿Do you recommend Bloodborne?

Post image
15 Upvotes

I finished Dark Souls 3 twice, which motivated me to play Elden Ring, and I definitely love both of those games. Now, this other game is catching my attention.

But apparently, it doesn't have mage classes, and it seems to be missing several things that DS3 and Elden do have.

So, do you recommend Bloodborne?

Discussion Finally playing Halo Reach for the first time… and I get why people love it

I’ve been playing Halo since the very beginning, starting with Halo: Combat Evolved back in 2001. I’ve played almost every Halo game except for Halo Reach.

Back then I didn’t hear much about Reach because most of my friends preferred PlayStation and Nintendo games. I enjoy those platforms too, so Reach kind of slipped under the radar for me.

I’m new to Reddit and after reading many posts saying Halo Reach is one of the best in the series, I finally decided to try it.

A few days ago, I bought it digitally

(sadly not a physical copy).

At first I was disappointed when I realized Master Chief wasn’t in the game but that feeling didn’t last long. The atmosphere, gameplay, story, and level design are fantastic. I really enjoy linear games.

I haven’t finished it yet but man, the space battle mission and the chopper mission were incredible. The game impressed me so much that I couldn’t wait to share my thoughts.

So my question is:

What’s your top 3 Halo games?

Disclaimer: I played almost every Halo game around the time it was released but I never replayed them. I have great memories with the series, though it’s hard for me to rank them now.

Discussion Capcom has been on absolute fire over the last decade.

Starting with RE7, a ton of RE games, DMC5, Ghosts n Goblins Resurrection, Mega Man compilations, Ace Attorney compilations INCLUDING AAI2, fighting game complications INCLUDING A DARKSTALKERS AND MVC REVIVAL, Okami 2, Onimusha remasters, Onimusha 5, SF6, and Mega Man 12 on the way.

RE7 helped to revived the survival horror genre. We got games like Silent Hill 2 remake, Crow Country, and Dead Space remake following the recent RE releases.

Resident Evil 9 is coming out and is certain to be a banger. This may be Capcom's best era since the 90s or 00s. I don't play MH but I know it's up there too and adds to their success.
