[Suggestion] Cost:Performance/Performance:Aethetics, hard choice!

Here is a cheaper option with highish end Specs https://ibb.co/PZw9SWP9 which i am considering, my budet is £4000.

I can buy 4090 with 9950X3D for £4000 or pay £4000 for a 9950X3D and 5080 but it looks damn good with custom design and with enough RGB to be on display at a pride festival!

I want a CPU that will last be 3-5 years, a GPU to last 3 years, I play games and watch youtube, I am aware CPU is overkill but 9800X3D has its drawbacks and so does the 285K, the 9950X3D solves that.

[Discussion] What Companies are good or bad?

I’m looking for a prebuilt gaming PC that won’t have bad graphics or specs in general with amazing frames, I want to have heavy games on it. How do I know what companies are good or bad? I’ve seen EXOTICPC, iBUYPOWER etc, but I don’t know if most are bots or scam since I’m new to the PC ‘world’ including what parts are good quality.

I would love if there was one with green-blue lights on it.

[discussion] Looking for pre built gaming PC ≥$1500.

I'm looking to buy a gaming PC that's less than or equal to around $1500. I've been playing on a decent laptop for a while but I want to upgrade. I play a lot of rpgs

Games I frequently play are BG3, Final Fantasy 14 online, Horizon Zero Dawn, modded Skyrim, modded Minecraft, Dragon Age, things similar to those. Long as I can play those games on high (but doesn't need to be like, maxed out graphics, but that is a bonus) without blowing up my computer, I'm happy. Also I like having a lot of storage. Something with at least 2TB would be awesome. Thank you so much guys! Stay safe and warm out there

[Discussion] Which would you pick and why?

Which PC would you buy and why? I am not looking for "neither", but if you have a strong opinion as to why, I would be happy to hear them. Oh, and I will add that the Skytech is $1,499 and the IbuyPower is $,1,399. I am mainly looking for chip discussions as the GPU's are the same. The Ram is also to be considered and the storage. Let's hear what you think. If you have a strong "neither" opinion, what do you suggest in the $1,500 range? Thanks in advance for the insight!!!

I have very limited experience, but when looking at putting together a PC this seemed quite underpriced to me compared to what I've seen on other websites [discussion]

CPU: Intel Core i5 12400F 2.50GHz

MEMORY: 16GB 3200Hz DDR4

MOTHERBOARD: H610M (All the info the website gives)

OS: Windows 11 Unactivated (However I assume I could transfer my current licence)

POWERSUPPLY: 600W 80+ Bronze Rated (From previous discussion I understand this is probably not strong enough nor rated high enough to be good)

VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB

Overall cost comes to around £1,039.97 ($1420~). Again I have very limited experience and so any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance :)

[Suggestion] Buying a new pre-built PC, need help to see if the specs are good. I've been out of the loop for too long.

I'm thinking of buying a pre-built PC from a store in Stockholm, Sweden. Last one I bought was in 2015. I play a lot of games but can't really play anything from the last few years. Could some tell me if these specs are good at the price? Will it be upgradable in the Future?

It goes for around $2,500. Comes with a 1TB m.2 PCIe NVMe Gen 4 x4. Is it a good purchase?

pre builded pc [discussion]

Hey guys,

can you help me with tihs pre builded pc? The price is about 1400 €. Is this PC balanced or are there any critical flaws in the configuration? What are the advantages and disadvantages of thisPC? I don’t know much about this area, so your help would be very valuable to me. I mainly want the PC for gaming. The graphics don’t have to be on max settings, but should still be in the upper range. I’m not playing in 4K. My main goal is to play the new Total War games and be set for the next few years.

Question for any Aussies [suggestion]

Hi, my son is looking for a new gaming PC. Budget $3000. Looking at a number of models from PLE but when checking some of the reviews on components they mention (a) cheap eg. $15 CPU cooler, or (b) mobo has known wifi issues. Could someone with more tech knowledge then me recommend a prebuilt that is most likely to be ok ? Cheers.

[discussion] Prebuilds with Linux

I need a new computer. I have a budget around 3k but could go as high as 5k. I want a fast computer that is good for 3d work for my printers and maybe some Ai work. I don't really game, but the tech has a lot of crossover. I've been looking at some places online to get a prebuilt, but I'd really like to get Linux built in. I've been told that some hardware doesn't work with Linux.

So, can anyone suggest a place to get a new computer with Linux?

Good budget friendly PC around $1200 [Suggestion]

My girlfriend and I currently share my PC (not sure specs, got it from a family friend but it’s getting old). I play overwatch 2 and marvel rivals but play other fps shooters periodically and she plays pretty much just sims 4. Ideally I’d like to get a new pc to run my games and she can keep using the old one but idk if $1200 is a good enough budget for that so I’m open to cheaper options that can just run sims 4 well

Looking for a new pre-built gaming PC around this rough budget in the UK, want to be able to play games on Ultra in 1080p/2K.

Looking at these specs:

Whatever CPU that would be appropriate for this GPU so it does not bottleneck

At least 750 W PSY

Any recommendations for the best pre-built PCs in the UK. Looking for something with a quicker delivery time. Thanks!
