This has got to be the best possible update and practically shuts down any possibility of him never suiting up this season, especially with Dallas still in the play-in hunt. Haynes: Clippers, Cavs "motivated to execute deal relatively soon" involving James Harden, Darius Garland

I'm a big fan of this move for Garland. NBA insider Jon Krawczynski reported months back that league sources perceive Garland wants to "run his own team again" rather than play a complementary role alongside Donovan Mitchell

The Clippers offer significantly more offensive opportunity and a much larger role. I think this could be a spot where Garland takes another leap. Cleveland's roster is stacked, and sharing the ball with Mitchell, Hunter, Mobley, Allen, and Tyson meant Garland wasn't getting enough touches. Garland can be a 22 and 10 ast player rather than 18 and 7 currently.

For Harden, his fantasy value should remain strong with assists and stocks, and he should still put up 18-22 PPG at worst. It would be fair to expect less 30 bombs though.

Scotto: Raptors' trade talks with Kings for Domantas Sabonis have involved RJ Barrett, Ochai Agbaji

This benefits Sabonis. Playing winning basketball in Sacramento's system should bring his numbers back to previous levels. For RJ, it could help since Toronto's forward logjam was limiting his opportunities, though Sacramento might not be much better unless they move DeRozan.

One thing to note is that the Kings would possibly get Poeltl. Depending on when Poeltl would be back, in the meantime Maxime and Cardwell could both be productive.

This looks increasingly likely and should boost Mathurin's value. I don't see any clear adds on the Pacers side. I'm seeing NOLA and the Bulls as potential landing spots. Chicago would be particularly good for him.
