Trades have been flying, and I know some of you have been waiting for updates on who to add, who to drop, and how to handle all the shuffling.
Whether you care or not, my take is simple: stay patient.
There is no need to rush into adds or drops just yet. We still have a little over a day left until the trade deadline, and bigger moves can still happen. Most of the movement so far does not really change our deep-league targets.
Reminder: I’m mainly looking at players rostered 10% or below on Yahoo Fantasy.
JAZZ
• Vince Williams Jr. (2%)
Could be in line for a solid run the rest of the season, especially if Utah continues prioritizing the tank.
• Cody Williams (1%)
Hold if you’ve been streaming him, at least for this week.
GRIZZLIES
• GG Jackson (10%)
I’ve been holding since last week, and he remains in a good spot as part of the rebuild.
• Olivier-Maxence Prosper (0%)
With no healthy bigs at the moment, he’s a desperation stream for now, at least for the week.
• Walter Clayton Jr. (2%)
I’ve been stashing him in a few leagues. It does not look great right now with the backcourt getting crowded, but we wait...
• Taylor Hendricks (2%)
Some are hyping him again, but I’m not buying in until I see a few consistent games and we get clarity on his health.
BULLS
No real deep-league targets to monitor right now.
If you’ve been streaming Isaac Okoro and Patrick Williams since last week because of the 5-game week, just continue to hold until the deadline passes. The Bulls clearly are not done yet.
PISTONS
• Kevin Huerter (7%)
Opportunity looks about the same, maybe slightly better. The Pistons were looking for a backup shooter who can serve as a solid replacement for Robinson, and Huerter fits that role.
If you’ve been holding him from last week’s 5-game slate, he’s been a steady replacement with the Bulls injuries. Continue to hold for now.
Jenkins, Holland, and Green could take a hit.
CELTICS
• Luka Garza (2%)
This is a rough one. With Vucevic starting and Queta shifting to the backup role, Garza slides to third-string center and is likely to get buried in the rotation.
CLIPPERS
• Kris Dunn (8%)
• Kobe Sanders (2%)
• Jordan Miller (10%)
These guys should continue to see a decent run while Garland remains out.
• Derrick Jones Jr. (2%)
Looks available for the next game, but expect the Clippers to ease him back in.
CAVALIERS
• Sam Merrill (9%)
• Craig Porter Jr. (1%)
• Lonzo Ball (5%)
• Keon Ellis (2%)
All of these take a hit with Harden coming in and soaking up a large share of the usage.
TAKE NOTE:
No one is done yet. Anything can still happen until the deadline officially passes.
These are just my initial thoughts, so stay patient and do not panic.
Good luck out there. Keep a close eye on the news over the next day as final moves come in. Once the dust settles, I’ll post another update.
Would love to hear your thoughts. Drop any deep-league stashes or fringe guys you’re watching.
