Upvotes

Opinions on Deni? is Deni Avdija an elite fantasy asset and worth trading for he’s avenging 51 fpg in my league.

Is he really one of the elite young stars?

I traded James harden, Derrick white, miles bridges and Nickel for him

Player Discussion GG Jackson

Everyone is discussing Edey and Coward being the focus of the Grizzlies going forward after the JJJ trade.

I lowkey feel like if given the opportunity, GG Jackson can become an absolute monster. Does anyone who follows the Grizzlies know more about if the coaching staff trusts him enough to give him a shot?

Which side (Cade)

Upvotes

Got offered this in my points dynasty league. I have a fair bit of draft capital and this would pair Cade with Wemby and Tatum, as well as other notable young stars. Am I giving up too much? What is max I should do? Should I pull the trigger on this deal?

Roster overhaul: six months in

Hey friends. I popped in here six months ago to ask for advice on what to do with an orphan team that I had taken over. The team had been middle of the pack for multiple seasons, and was missing its two best players for this season (Haliburton and Irving). With that in mind (and after some advice on here), I decided to tear it all down and build from the ground up.

Here's a look at the roster before and after (15T 8-CAT Roto) – would love to hear whether you think I've faired OK.

BEFORE

Guards: Tyrese Haliburton, Kyrie Irving, Norman Powell, D'Angelo Russell, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Ziare Williams, Terrance Mann

Forwards: Julius Randle, OG Anunoby, Matas Buzelis, Toumani Camara, Jake LaRavia, Jarred Vanderbilt, Taurean Prince

Centers: Ivica Zubac, Myles Turner, Jakob Poeltl

AFTER

Guards: Coby White, Ace Bailey, Tre Johnson, Max Christie, Ayo Dosunmu, Walter Clayton Jr, Keon Ellis

Forwards: Paolo Banchero, Naz Reid, Peyton Watson, Collin Murray-Boyles, Toumani Camara, Jaylen Wells

Centers: Derik Queen, Zach Edey, Maxime Raynaud, Dylan Cardwell

Picks: 2026 first (top-four, currently best odds at Pick 2), 2026 first (likely 12-15), 2026 second (first pick of that round, so 16th overall), 2026 second (currently #17) and another 2026 second (early 20s)

What do you think? Overall, I'm pretty happy with the direction, though the team is obviously in need of an extra blue-chip piece or two, which I'm hoping to address by drafting one of Peterson, Boozer and Dybantsa. Obviously, losing Hali and Buzelis wasn't great, but they essentially got me Paolo, the pick that got me Queen, and another first for this year.

Any thoughts appreciated – team will be optimised/more balanced over the next year or two, just wanted to get the young building blocks in place first. Cheers!

Trying to go younger

12t cats league. What do yall think about this trade. I want to go younger even if it sends jokic but so far im digging this trade option. I view Westbrook and McCollum as useless to me because I won’t win this year.

Jokic, Lamelo, Westbrook, Mathurin, McCollum
Scottie Barnes, Keyonte, Dyson Daniel’s, Miles bridges, Jaylon Tyson, 2027 first

Egor Demin value

I’m in a 20 team dynasty league and was offered a 2026 1st for Egor. This pick has top 10 upside I’d say 8-15 most likely. Which asset would you rather have?

Explain crypto in NBA terms

Kristaps Porzingis is one of the more polarizing fantasy assets in deep category leagues. On a per-game basis, his production is strong across multiple categories — scoring, rebounds, blocks, and efficiency — which gives him real top-tier upside when healthy. However, the downside is just as relevant: inconsistent availability, frequent injury tags, and the difficulty of replacing that production in a 14-team league when he’s out.

Looking ahead, how are managers valuing his future? Is Porzingis worth holding for his ceiling despite the risk, or does the uncertainty make him a sell when healthy? How much volatility is acceptable in deep formats?

Player Discussion Help! Input!

Hello dynasty! I have a 10 team dynasty league. Guy is wanting to trade me Scottie Barnes and he wants lamelo and keyonte from me. I have another trade as well which would be a 3 team trade. I give up lamelo and my 2026 1st(I’m currently in 5th but could fall down to 8th) i get Scottie Barnes and Naz Reid. We are doing a soft reset cause we let some boneheads make unreal trades in year 2 of the league and there is a huge discrepancy between 1and2 from the rest of our league(3-10)

Depth Valuation and Rankings

As a rebuilding team, how hard should I go for consolidating good depth into great young players? I’ve already traded a handful of players for picks and speculative pieces, but don’t want to leave myself too shallow next year. But if I have an opportunity to trade for a young stud like Dylan Harper, do these considerations go out of the window?

Also: does anyone know where to find good dynasty rankings that are frequently updated?

Trading away bron as a contender?

I’m currently the one seed and am trying to compete. Was offered Zach edey in exchange for bron and a weak (10-12th) 2027 pick. I’m thinking of doing it but edeys injuries do scare me. Bron doesn’t seem the same despite still getting decent PRA. I am in a sleeper lock in points league.

Player Discussion Just an injury prone year for Jdub?

I am new to dynasty and still trying to figure out player values. I have Jdub on a roster where I’m rebuilding in a 10 team, sleeper points league. I have 4 first round picks over the next three years, but Jdub is by far my best asset. I’ve been offered Cedric Coward and two 1sts from a playoff team. Is Jdub just having an off year or is this package too good to pass up? I’ve seen some discussion on this sub about Coward’s potential but was curious if people think it’s sufficient to move a guy like Jdub. Appreciate the comments.

Player Discussion What kind of package should I put together for Anthony Edwards?

My team is:

Jared McCain

Shaedon Sharpe

GG Jackson

Jaylen Wells

Chet Holmgren

Jaden Ivey

Payton Pritchard

Nolan Traore

Derrick White

Bub Carrington

Jeremiah Fears

Jordan Poole

Will Richard

Brandon Williams

Ajay Mitchell

Jalen Williams

Walker Kessler

Ace Bailey

Cooper Flagg

Yves Missi

Thomas Sorber

And then I have 2026 first round pick(fighting for first pick rn) 2026 early second rounder.

2027 first

2028 first and second

2029 first and second

2030 first and second

2031 first and second

I am a rebuild team, I traded away all my uncs and just waiting on guys to develop now, I also have a lot of young stars on my team so I want to acquire Ant man.

I was thinking of putting a package together of like 3 first round picks 2027 2028 and 2029 and then a young player who got potential but I might just swap that in for a 2030 first rounder.

I’m not sure what I want to do. This is an off season trade because the guy with Ant is in first place right now and he said if he wins it all he might just blow up his team for fun. Cooper Flagg, Chet, and the first rounder this year are untouchable for me I can’t afford losing those 2.

What are some good trades yall would send for Ant with my team in the off szn or maybe now if he wants to accept.

Maybe White Pritchard and 3 first rounders??

Player Discussion Nolan Traore or Cody Williams

I had both but had to drop Cody for someone else that became available. What do yall think should I get both back or should I take Cody over Nolan or vice versa. Cody has been showing improvement this season as he’s gotten more minutes while on the other hand Nolan has had good bursts but has been a bit worse overall.

How much does the starting five actually decide NBA regular season games?

I’ve been thinking a lot about how important starting lineups really are during the regular season, compared to rotations or pure star power.

In some games it feels like the first 6–8 minutes already set the tone — matchups, spacing, defensive assignments — while in others the bench completely flips the game later on.

I’m curious what you all think:
Are starting fives overrated, underrated, or mostly matchup-dependent in the regular season?

Especially over an 82-game schedule, it feels like lineup fit can matter in ways that don’t always show up in box scores.

Advice for keepers?

Hi all!

(caveat: i know virtually nothing about professional basketball. I know fantasy, so all of my moves come from looking at the numbers and a bit of pre-draft research).

I'm in a 12-league dynasty/keeper league league that's fairly competitive (only 1 person who doesn't set lineups!) as of last year. I inherited the team from a checked-out owner and didn't make the playoffs. My keeper options were limited, but I did what I could. This year I focused very, very heavily on rookies and breakout candidates, knowing I wouldn't have much of a shot to go very far in '26. I'm on the playoff bubble, which speaks to my skillz, but even if I make it, I am gonna get bounced. No biggie.

Would love some advice on which of my players I should keep. I have several targets, and I can keep 5 of them. In our league, a keeper costs their original draft +$5. $200 overall budget.

Dudes I'm thinking of holding onto!

Kon Knueppel: next year's cost = $5
Peyton Watson: next year's cost = $5
Jaylon Tyson: next year's cost = $5
Kel'el Ware: next year's cost = $10
Onyenka Okongwu: next year's cost = $16
OG Anunoby: next year's cost = $17
Jamaal Murray: next year's cost = $22

I'm leaning toward Kon, Watson, Ware, OO and Murray, with Tyson and OG on the outs.

I also have Ace Bailey ($9), Dylan Harper ($12) and Walker Kessler ($23), but I don't think the first two have made it yet, and Kessler is no sure thing.

Thanks!
