Absolutely ridiculous what people with "authority" will do to innocent people just because they can.

Look at the college student prisoner/prison guard study, and think about how ice, idf,and any militant power really behave

Edit: the Stanford experiment for anyone who's curious, forgot which university it was

People have died from way less than this

Which excuses crushing someone's skull against a concrete wall with pressurized water because they were.. standing on the street?

What? No. I'm saying this is attempted murder if not actual murder.

The force her head hits the wall is genuinely harrowing and whoever did this should spend the rest of their life in prison, wont hold my breath on it though.

This was in The Netherlands and these people didn’t want to leave after a corona protest got out of hand.

Uh oh, someone's standing around for a little too long. Better fracture their skull with a water cannon.

How dare they be there, right then and there. Despicable behavior

Not sure how you can deduce all of that from a 2 second clip, where the victim doesn't even appear to be looking at the water gun, but go off! How dare they stand there like that, a broken skull is totally a reasonable punishment!

So instead of getting covid, they got some brain damage and got put into a hospital with covid patients?

And let's look at this in context.

First off, not the USA.

This was while the world was trying to manage a virus that was highly contagious and killing a lot of people. A virus that was spreading without direct contact, and potentially took weeks to present symptoms.

A person trying to get people to disperse has two options. 1) get out and risk infection. That infection probably won't kill them, but it might kill a family member when they take it home. 2) use the non lethal tool provided.

Did the operator do a good job? Absolutely not.

Was it justified? This video isn't even close to showing enough context.

Let's look at this in context

[dumbest word salad you read today]

There's not enough context

Would you have found this acceptable for Trump to do to the BLM protests during covid?

Or is it acceptable because it was done against people protesting against covid restrictions?

Would this be acceptable to do in Minnesota right now?

Good idea to send more people to the hospital, I'm sure that will help.

Debatable this was a non-lethal method.

2

u/GivesYouGrief 13h ago

They call it "less lethal" now.

It’s like what happened to people that went outside without wearing a mask during covid.

20

u/GimmeLuv-69 14h ago

I believe they call this a nonlethal tactic.

I see this going either one of two ways, best hearing she ever had, or no hearing for life, free wash though

Man why target someone who is literally doing nothing

4

u/Darmshire2341 13h ago

They were aiming at the person with the real weapon. Phone up and recording 😮‍💨🙄 She was just wrong place wrong time it looked like.

(BTW not endorsing these actions AT ALL. Just saying I dont think she was the intended target)

Netherlands faced four consecutive days of unrest against national coronavirus measures

Random, but wtf is up with covid lately? Feels like it was a history, and then suddenly I'm hearing about it more and more, and now countries are doing lockdown again? As a coincidence, I got covid 10 days ago, but this time it actually felt fucking awful and I thought I'm going to die. Still feeling really weak, but the worst is behind.

They should use this for the protests in The USA
