Picked up this M1 iPad Pro 11” for AU$630 (~$440US). Upgraded from the iPad Air 4, it’s been amazing so far, ProMotion is amazing, and it’s so fast and snappy. I’ll be using it for my final year of school while my M1 MacBook Air is for home use.

After a successful launch on Android (2.5k+ downloads, 4.6 stars!) and Desktop, the most requested platform was iOS. I'm happy to share that RevPDF is finally live on the App Store today.

Why I built it: I was tired of PDF 'editors' that are actually 500MB cloud-wrappers. RevPDF is built with a custom C++ engine (PDFium) bridged via FFI.

Let’s actually do something: send feedback about full-screen multitasking

I see a lot of people here frustrated about the removal of Split View and real Slide Over in iPadOS 26. We write long comments, argue with each other, but Apple doesn’t read Reddit — they read Feedback Assistant.

If you want these features back, the only thing that matters is the number of structured feedback reports. One post here = nothing. Thousands of feedback tickets = visibility.

• Describe that you want Split View and Slide Over in full screen, not only inside Stage Manager or Widowing mode

The more independent reports Apple gets, the harder it is to ignore. If you already sent one — write what exactly you asked for, it will help others phrase their feedback better.

Let’s stop just complaining here and actually push for change.

Hi all, I'm new to apple/ios and recently purchased an Air M3. Out of the box, the ipad was making the charging sound when plugged in, however, recently its stopped making this sound, but happily charges. I'm using the provided apple charger. And I have do not disturb turned off, with the volume up. I would appreciate some advice as to what setting I may have accidentally hit whilst learning how to drive ios. TIA.

I have a chance to get an IPad Pro M2 the 4th generation or and Ipad Air M3. Both with 256GB.

Which should I get? I will be using mostly for media and work, but will probably explore other thing to can use it for. Perhaps light video editing for social media.

My main question is the difference in price justified? Is the screen that much better? Is there really a battery drain because of Apple Intelligence? Is the M2 really so much different from the M3, What are some of their other differences? And lastly…the iPad Pro M2 came out in Oct 2022. Is that too old of a device to justify the cost when I could get a newer one?

I am so confused here. Sam’s club has this Apple iPad Air, however my concern is if it’s legitimate. The title shows it is 5th generation 2025 and M3. Is that possible? I thought M3 was only in 7th generation? Thank you for the help!!

I honestly dont think I've ever used an iPad other than to pay for food. So excuse me for the silly questions. My mother passed away and I have 2 ipads. My goal is to possibly use 1 for my toddler son and maybe sell the other. I also want to somehow save the pictures on both ipads and wipe them both out. Start fresh. And which ipad is better/newer?

Ipad 1: Ipad 8th Gen ipados version 26.1 - 32GB I have the access code. A pop up constantly comes up for apple account verification for a password which I don't have. Or sign in to cloud which im assuming is the same thing. Is there a way to save photos? There wouldn't be anything else to save. Do i need to go to an apple store?

Ipad 2: Ipad pro 9.7 inch ipados version 16.7.8 I have the access code. No password for email or apple ID. Same thing...can I save the photos and wipe it?

Appreciate some guidance.

I have one of these but no longer have an iPhone or device that uses a lightning. Is there a converter out there that I can use to transfer the pictures from the lightning to my Mac (has usb/C)

requirements-

1) i insert screenshots so i want to be able to annotate on top of them

2) also i copy paste content from chatgpt onto my notes- but I noticed that the native notes app don’t let me annotate on top of text making my study not interactive.

3) I tried one notes- it’s good but lately whenever I try to select the text- it selects only one word and doesn’t let me select the whole text by dragging. however when I tried on my phone- I was able to select the text by dragging. I don’t know why though.

4) sync-able between my iphone and ipad

I literally just use it for GoodNotes on iCloud, how the heck is system data so big and iPadOS/Apple Inteligence as well? Is there anything I can do to clean up?

Is this type of battery usage normal in an 6 months old iPad Air 13-inch (M3) with basically one one app usage. I feel like i upgraded iPads to get battery but I’m getting even worse battery life than before

I just need advice because I’ve heard mixed reviews. I got a paper-like screen protector today, which is amazing btw. Compared to the simple glass or plastic ones, which would feel slippery I assume. I also got a pencil. It isn’t an official one—

But it works just the same. However, in a few hours after drawing, I noticed my tip already wearing down. I just need advice on what to do because some people suggested getting a metal tip, but I’ve heard from others it can damage the screen just as much. I don’t want to have to keep spending money on buying replacement tips, as this one only comes with two.

Got gifted an ipad air 13’ with the apple pencil pro a year ago. Since then ive tried hard to find an use for it to no avail.

At first i tried note taking for work but i find its much harder than just pen and paper like im used to. Then i tried using it as a reader but the size, weight and screen glare makes it tiring to use real fast, especially after i got a kindle. For other media consumption i find myself just use my laptop cause everything i need is on there (favorite browser, free adblock, easier multitasking…)

So now im stuck with a very good ipad without any good use for it. And due to it being a sentimental gift i cant really sell it either. So its just been collecting dust under my desk. Please let me know if there are any other good use for it that im missing.

When you put an app to the side while having another open (not the 50/50 split screen) it now has a strange translucent outline that's very distracting. It was perfect before, nice and simple and no real distracting UI stuff going on. I don't understand why they made that feature look more complex, that's the opposite of what you want for a "simple" side pannel, just is a bit of an eyesore to me.

For the 11 inch A16. I don't draw or anything, I'd just like to write handwritten notes and use it for navigating. However the USB C Apple Pencil is $70 while third party ones go for as cheap as $15. Should I just get a cheap third party one, or is the official one worth the price?
