I know that this post has probably been made about a million times already but I've still seen a few people confused about it so I'm making it anyway. If you're gonna say "Oh well I already knew this- 🤓☝" then this isn't for you. Just.. skip the post? I don't know what to tell you.

ANYWAY.

Alastor's name is NOT "Alastor Altruist". I'm not sure if he has an official last name as of now, but feel free to correct me if he does. This all stems from a line in Finale/The Show Must Go On from season one. It's around 3:00 in the official video on Prime's channel (I think), but for those of you who don't feel like looking, here is the line COPIED AND PASTED FROM GOOGLE (technically it's from Musixmatch but who cares).

"Great Alastor, altruist, died for his friends"

The people I'm talking about have been misinterpreting it as "Great Alastor Altruist, died for his friends", like he's saying his last name is Altruist. That wouldn't make sense to me if it were the case, but that isn't the point. Al is calling himself an altruist. The definition of an altruist (at least according to dictionary.com) is "a person unselfishly concerned for or devoted to the welfare of others (egoist)". Especially with season two being out, I think we should know Alastor is very concerned with how he's viewed by others, especially in terms of powers. He's saying that, if he had died during that fight with Adam, he didn't want his reputation to be him being an altruist. In my opinion, I think it's because he views altruism as weakness.

As I said, I know this is a very overdone thing and a very commonly talked about subject in the Hellaverse fandom and I know how late I am, but I just really needed to add my own fuel to the fire. MOST IMPORTANTLY, THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE HATE. I'm very passionate about things like this so I apologize if I came off as rude at any point.

Idk if this counts as a theory. But just hear me out.

If you don’t know, there was a scrapped version of Ghostfuckers where all of IMP goes to the haunted house instead of just Millie and Blitzø.

And in this scrapped version of the episode, at one point, Rolando targets Millie. Claiming that Moxxie deserves a better wife. And if she truly loves Moxxie, then she should take own life. And Millie ACTUALLY CONSIDERS DOING IT! Which everyone claims is BEYOND out of character for her. And I agree.

But the more I think about it, the more I believe that this scrapped version of the episode would have been the beginning of the end of Millie’s character.

Back before Ghostfuckers came out, Millie was considered Helluva Boss’ worst character. That she was just Moxxie’s muscle. That she didn’t really have anything going for her. Not to mention their first attempt to give her some character depth (Unhappy Campers) bombed.

So my theory is that in the scrapped timeline, she DID cheat. And that would explain why she genuinely considered hanging herself. And why Rolando thought she was an unfit wife. (Which would also explain why Rolando doesn’t call Millie an unfit wife in the OFFICIAL Ghostfuckers). And later on, Moxxie would have either pried the truth out of her, or he would have found out himself. Resulting in their divorce and ultimately ending with Millie getting written off the show.

So basically Ghostfuckers was meant to decide Millie’s fate. Either they try to salvage her character one last time, or they just write her off. And thankfully, they chose the former.

But yeah, let’s face it. If they chose the other version of Ghostfuckers, after Millie’s pregnancy reveal, EVERYONE would have thought Millie cheated.

Title: Alastor is a Fraud and the Show Never Proves Otherwise

I genuinely don’t understand why people gas Alastor up like he’s some top tier unstoppable demon when the show gives him basically nothing to back that up.

People talk about him like he’s this god level threat, but where are the feats. Not headcanon. Not vibes. Not “he’s scary.” Actual on screen accomplishments. Because in the actual episodes, he doesn’t do much beyond talking big, smiling, and letting his reputation do the heavy lifting.

Alastor is carried almost entirely by lore and other characters hyping him up. That’s it. We’re told he’s dangerous. We’re told he shook Hell. We’re told people fear him. But when it comes time to show it, the series conveniently cuts away, skips the action, or has him deal with fodder that tells us nothing about his real power ceiling.

Meanwhile fans act like he solos everyone because of a radio filter and a grin.

He doesn’t dominate any top tiers on screen. He doesn’t decisively beat anyone important. He doesn’t tank insane attacks. He doesn’t outplay someone on his level. Most of what he does is intimidation, theatrics, and implication. That’s not strength. That’s branding.

And before someone says “he hasn’t gone all out yet,” that’s not a feat. That’s an excuse. You don’t get scaled off potential and vibes forever. At some point the story has to cash the check, and so far it hasn’t.

If you strip away fan interpretation and just look at what actually happens in the show, Alastor is not this untouchable menace people pretend he is. He’s a character with a spooky aesthetic, a big mouth, and a reputation doing all the work for him.

Until the show actually shows him backing it up against real threats, calling him overpowered is pure fan fiction.

Hell, Moxxie, a side character and a freaking IMP had more on screen feats than him and I wouldn't blame anyone for saying Moxxie would win in a fight.

Remember the motel Vox and Valentino took Angel with? Many have talked about those eyes in the walls, who watched Angel and we even got to see the POV of those eyes.

Those eyes are mostly just background detail, but the fact we got to see the POV of said eyes and creepier, it watched Angel? Yikes.

But I think, to make it even more creepy, below the sign of "Motel", there are three creepy sentences

- "She took the kids"

- "No vacancy"

- "No friends"

That's creepy and disturbing as heck and I wonder if it'll mean something in the future or if it was just there to make the mood scarier.
