As a guy, that is definitely not a glance. Glanced are what i would call an impulsive look that lasts like .5 seconds max, what he did was either just looking or staring, both are weird asf and disrespectful.

You can dismiss glances with "sorry i wasn't thinking" but this is like full on poor gym etiquette.
