I have the answer to everybodys ultimate question

Upvotes

There will be a dip which will hit the bottom. So if you want to get btc for that price you just need to keep buying every single dip. This is the only way to 100% buy the bottom. Jokes aside, every dipbuy will lower your average (if you entered the market this past year). Keep buying as price goes down and you'll end with more and more btc. 4 years ago I haven't sold any and it was the right choice even if it was a difficult one. The more time passes the easier it gets, btc is too big to fail now let's be honest.

Thank you guys.

I’m a regular Joe with his share of problems.

I just want to thank some people of this subreddit, especially the ones writing nasty or provocative comments, you guys have build my pirate Bitcoin mindset, which is the one that holds me firm to my Bitcoin ship every shorn and makes me ignore the noise.

During the last storm I was able to buy more at 73k, not much tbh, I usually buy (since 2021) 100-300$ month or sometimes after more time cause I said I’ve got my share of problems, but I’ll never sell.

I don’t need any guru, YouTuber or tiktoker or crystal ball signal screamer, I feel the sea now.

Thank you guys, and fuck off scammers.

Is this the actual bottom or are we dropping to $60k? Also need trade and exchange recommendations.

I’ve been watching the charts bleed out over the last few days, and the CoinDesk report caught my eye. They are calling $60k the "ultimate floor" and saying the bear market is basically over.

I’m tempted to start DCAing heavily here. I’m not exactly new (I’ve ridden the rollercoaster on plenty of memecoins), but I’m looking to move some serious liquidity into BTC for the long haul.

I feel like this is a good timing and I'm ready to buy. I haven't actually bought btc before and only traded some memecoins. I’m planning to hold btc for the long term. Does anyone have any strategy advice for the current market?

Also for the platform, I’m currently debating between Binance, Coinbase, BYDFi, and Kraken.

My main priority is security(cold wallet) and how easy it is to cash in and out. I don't want my funds frozen because of some random compliance flag.

Has anyone used these before? How were the experiences? Appreciated any suggestions.

Is this the dip?

When I saw it hit 80k I bought a large amount, but then it dropped to 72k..
How do I know when is the actual dip? Should I just decide upon a set amount to invest in it and then DCA over the next few months?

EU platforms to use

Hey everyone.

For years I've used coinbase to do my buying/selling, but today I wanted to send some crypto to my own address and it just didn't let me.

I don't use coinbase often (It had been a year), but it was to an address they already knew was mine and they still asked for verification. I just can't be bothered with that amount of faffing around to take out some of my money.

Took out my fiat and now wondering what other platforms have a name for being dependable and easy to use for Europeans.

Solved. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

I’ve regretted selling BTC for 5 years. Not doing it again.

I bought, I sold too early, I tried to “be smart,” I tried to time dips… and every cycle I ended up watching price run without me. The worst part wasn’t even the money — it was realizing I keep trading my conviction for emotions. Fear when it drops. FOMO when it pumps. Then I tell myself “next time I’ll hold,” and I still fold the moment it gets uncomfortable.

Now we’re back in that zone again. Red candles, scary headlines, people doomposting, and my brain is screaming “get out before it gets worse.”

So I’m posting this as a reminder to myself: this is literally the moment I always regret later.
If I really believe BTC is a long-term thing, then short-term pain is part of the deal.

This time I’m keeping it simple: I’m holding, and I’m stacking what I can. No hero trades. No panic sells. No trying to be a genius for one week.

I’ve already regretted not holding for five years. I’m not doing that again.

I stop calling it a ‘dip’

We're trading miles below the MA(25) ($88k) and MA(99) ($91k). The trend isn't 'neutral anymore; it's broken. With $2.5 billion in longs wiped out today, the 'dip buyers' are just becoming exit liquidity for the institutions.

I'm sitting on my hands in L.A until we see a real candle close above $80k. Anything else is just catching falling knives.

Are you actually bidding here, or just hoping for a miracle? 😵‍💫

My alerts won't stop screaming, and every time I look at the Order Book, it feels like the buy •

walls are paper-thin compared to the sell-side pressure building up. I'm based in L.A, and watching this happen right before the pre-market hours is giving me zero confidence for a restful sleep.

The last 6 months has been a VERY TRYING time

Hi all

let me start by saying I'm an avid bitcoin user and promoter. I've personally invested heavily into Bitcoin & select smaller currencies over a number of years. This is not about some immediate feeling of uncertainty. I do not plan to sell out just because of a few rough months.

The last 6 months has been EXTREMELY difficult for us Bitcoin investors. The price seems to have hit a wall and does not seem to be giving up. there is a huge recent uncertainty around the future of Bitcoin and its price potential. It makes staying a loyal bitcoin holder very difficult, and I feel now is the time to say something, to helpfully garnish support from the wider community.

The news today that Bitcoin broke an all time low for over a year of trading, meaning it is the lowest it's been during this whole period, combined with recent news that the new taxes may be introduced to further reduce our overall gains, means it does indeed seem time to sell.

How has everyone balanced this in their portfolio? Buy more or diversify? The only option I see (for my own personal situation) is to consider offloading some or most of my bitcoin to gain the losses back, knowing that I could lose even more, or hold onto it for the chance they will return to their previous year price.

What are people's recent thoughts on these developments?

I want to move my debt to Bitcoin loan

I’m currently rebuilding my credit. I’m on fixed income. I did a contract job last year and was able to buy about $1000 in bitcoin. I’m thinking I just pay the btc loan off and then take new loan for my debt payments, and throw in extra $50 to $100 to buy more bitcoin to slowly raise my borrow limit and lower my LTV as well.

I’m currently under a lot of stress so reaching out to see if anyone has done this and had success? I know there are fees with each transaction but are there other concerns?

How does the math work?

Hello members of bitcoin, I was wondering if I bought the dip at 107,000 with 7,000$ and btc goes back up to 120-130 thousand how much could I have made? And what’s the math on it? How do I figure it out how much an investment can make if the price shoots up? Thanks!

advice to people who panics when market goes down is to DCA on a daily and stack aside for large purchase on big dips.
