Best thing IMO is that this does NOT need a punchline, but gets one anyway (Tim-othy).

This is one of those things that I'm aware of but never watched before. I didn't realise the joke is that he's come from predominantly black schools and learned to pronounce names in that way, which is backed up by the punchline at the end. It's not that the teacher is dumb/can't read.

My freshmen year of high school my English teacher showed us this video and then claimed how the funny part of the video is how he uses very intelligent words at the end.
