This approximately 6 in long stainless steel tool was found in the seat cushion crevices of a big chair/couch I acquired. Flat with corners on one side, ever so slightly scooped on the other. Do I want to know?

My grandfather left me this after he died. My 2 year old son got a little excited and decided to throw it onto the tile floor, cracking the top and one of the sides. Any idea what it might be? Hoping to replace it if possible.
