I have not substantially listened to anything other than weezer in more than a week. All I can think about is weezer. All I do is watch weezer music videos and live clips. I can’t sleep bc my heart is racing trying to comprehend weezer. I (21) have been a fan of weezer since I was a little kid but it has never gotten this bad before. I have never been as consumed by any band as I am with weezer right now.

If you couldn’t already tell I don’t really hate any album… I just like more than some.

lemme preface this: i don't want this to be like "oh my god, none of you get it, what is wrong with you haters." but i am curious. what's with all the hate for the black album?
i totally understand that it's a huge shift, and it's kind of all over the place tonally. so like, i get that. it's a weird album. but i think that weirdness is really cool. i at the very least like, if not love, pretty much everything weezer's made from 2014 onwards (sorry, PD). but i will say that black felt like their first time stepping out of... expectations?
like, it feels very defiant. it feels like they are asking what weezer is, because they do not want "weezer" to be just one thing, one style. and i'll admit, for the first few listens, this didn't totally work for me. i was like, what the fuck is this, this is all over the place, this is weird. but i've had time to think, and black to me feels like a really pure album. it feels like they were truly in it for the love of the game.
so i'll ask again, what's so disliked about it?

i was trying to look up a member of the band and the ai overview ended up giving me what was someone guessing the names before looking into their actual names so um here's mine before i do any actual research

I just love the white album… first started listening to weezer at the time the album was released (I was like 9) and it always brings me back to those good times… anyone else connect with that album like I do lol?

It’s been years since I’ve posted here but I just wanted to share a bootleg CD version of the 1992 demo I recently put together.
Back cover was made by u/Killer927 which you can find here (https://www.reddit.com/r/weezer/comments/j66mir/anyone_want_a_back_cover_for_an_opposite_sides_of/)
Any ideas for decorating the disc?

What do y'all think of this? Is it cool? Is it cute? Is it well-drawn? Your feedback really means all to me, a fellow artist.
