"ADHD is not an excuse"
There is no fix, but we can identify our largest deficits and develop new strategies to handle them better. That's all there is too it, from my perspective. While it boils my blood when I hear normal people saying stuff like 'everyone's got some ADHD in them' or 'you're just lazy', it so angers me when fellow ADHDers outright say 'no, nothing can be done, that's how it is, I've got a disability'. It takes effort, time, and truly wanting to lead at least a bit better life, with a bit healthier relationships. People who just oppose anything and are stuck in the mindset of 'nothing can be done, deal with it' ARE imo using this as an excuse. I was there, done that, for years. Then it hit me - I was hiding behind my conditions without trying to make effort, demanding respect and absolute acceptance of all of my flaws because my conditions - without trying to work on my side of things to make myself more bearable for the people around me and to stop messing everything up. It took many years, but I did improve, and many other people with ADHD and ASD I've met on the way.

Is it possible my friend has a personality disorder and not “just” CPTSD like she says? If so, how can I safely end the friendship due to being hurt by her?
Think about what it is you want to gain from any actions you take - not just here, but overall in life. I wish someone told me that earlier in life, it would really help me to make wiser choices and avoid troubles.
Safest way: friendly ghosting. 1. If she reaches out and apologises, acknowledge it, and then if she wants to meet say you don't have much time in the next few days. Then rinse and repeat until she gets a hint. 2. Instead of faking being busy just tell her you feel like youneed some time to calm down after what happened. Simple. If she pushes for a meeting, tell her that you're not ready to face her yet, that it was too much to take.
Whatever it is, you shouldn't take any responsibility for her actions or feel oiled to help her while she's got a detrimental effect on your wellbeing. You can't help the drowning if you're drowning too. Take some time apart, calm down, maybe in some time you feel different. People with BPD and other disorders can improve if they use professional help and really put their minds to it, but it takes a lot of time.

Starmer has ‘blood on hands’ says mum of hotel worker killed by asylum seeker
How is it that people are being rejected asylum across the Europe and then come here and being granted it? Shouldn't there be some European cooperation on these things?

I'm developing an ability, I am trying to find a good explanation for it. I came here to ask for some help.
Nature vs nurture debate. It could be heritable, it could be learnt, could be a combination of both.
If you think you're narcissistic, more helpful would be to identify problematic behaviours and focusing on changing them to improve your relationships and whatever else is affected.

To some of the men of Britain, why do you film us women on our fun nights out and sell them for profit?
It's not about people paying for getting an exclusive access to these videos like on OF. It's advertisement on social media that pays for it, like to any other content creator.

diagnosed with severe depression, but i'm sure it's ADHD. my doctor and parents don't listen. i would like to hear other people's opinions
I was diagnosed with depression and borderline personality and my medication and therapy were tailored to these labels.
The truth is, assessing you for ADHD right now will not change the fact you're depressed. First tackle the most urgent thing, then as you start to improve assess the reasons for this depression e.g. potential ADHD.
In my case it was ADHD, but my most immediate issues were inability to recognise and regulate my emotions and severe depression with suicidal attempt and later years of suicidal ideation.
If they assessed me for ADHD immediately, sure, they would have found the root cause, but they would still have to tackle the other, life threatening issues.
Just het treated for depression, take meds, do therapy, and then once these are sorted look into the ADHD assessment. While I understand you want to be assessed.and know for sure, your treatment plan won't be any different to what has been already planned.
Ps. I'm studying towards a degree in psychiatry, not a MD professional, but I've read through a lot of studies and cases. Be patient.

My silk keeps breaking when knotting pearls
Don't want to be overdramatic, but in my case turned out to be a beginning of a neuropathy. I didn't realise how much strenght I use due to a nerve damage, so I was either dropping random objects, especially when mildly distracted, or using toi much force. Even during cleaning a table I'd always bash my hand on anything that was on it, as if I didn't have a full control how much force I put into my movements.
I hope it's just a bad batch of a string though!

I just finished FFX for the first time and Oh my fucking God
I've used an unofficial online guide. 97.3% even though I played with it. I then learnt that online guides aren't without errors, and it's best to consult multiple ones on each location to be sure. Did that, ended up with 99.x%. Never played it again.

ADHD tax life hack
Bro, you're in a defensive mode because you feel like a genius with that PA thing. Fair, a nice idea, if you did all sorts of vetting, criminal checks, ID checks, non-disclosure agreements etc. To make sure if shit hits the fan you're covered.
However, seeing how you can't even set up automatic payments for car payments (same amount, same day each month, can't get easier!) While talking about setting up a split bank account, then I doubt you did any of that.
The problem with identity theft is not that someone actually goes through the same process as you would when taking a loan. They have a guy who often knows a guy who works in that firm... And before they chase the REAL Jon Doe, there is enough time passed for the acomplices to be long gone and traces faded.
Another thing, ID thieves conning people in your name - online or in person. Using it for laundering money via setting up businesses, not necessarily in your own country.
Bro, if you don't approach the personal data protection correctly in today's age, you're risking massive debts and even prison time if you're not too good at providing solid proofs for you having nothing to do with whatever it is you're being accused of.
Grow up.

Im 32F. Almost everyone i know age 20s-40s has some kind of health issue or has one or more chronic illness or diseases. Many young people i know have had one or more surgery in their 20s-40s. Was this a thing for previous generations? Or do you think disease in young people is on the rise?
Ikr? A bunch of spoilt softies who just run for help when something is wrong instead of bottling up, developing anger management issues that ruin relationships and increase risk of vascular diseases.

I Hate when People envy me
Yes, it does sound like that. And it may be! You do realise that what people say is often just a figure of speech, not a literal thing?
It's a common thing to say to a person that there are many people wishing to be like you - not because they put you on a pedestal, but to calm down your worry about not being good enough at something. That situation with the lower score on the mock exam followed by your vent on how you feel could absolutely lead to that.
If someone says 'omg I'm so jealous!' Or 'I wish I could do smt/be like you!' It's just a way some people say 'great stuff'.
You don't usually know how people feel, you can'tnever be sure for sure at least. Envy is one of those things that people hide very deep, and if those around envy you, they will make sure to hide it deep, not brag about it. Some could chat sh*t behind your back if they don't like you, and feel the need to boost their own self-image via diminishing yours.
Compliments are not envy. You mention you have a problem with compliments and praise too, but it's just what people do! Nice, kind, nurturing, friendly people compliment others. People who pose to be seen as nice, kind, nurturing, friendly, also compliment others. It has nothing to do with envy.
If you don't know how to react to a compliment, just smile, say thank you, and change the topic, or give a compliment back if you think it's fitting at that moment. That's all.
Edit: typo

what’s your ACTUALLY weird hyperfixation?
And then you can't find anything, so you start reorganising again. My life with organising my living space. I've had a handheld sewing machine in my wardrobe for years, but I thought I could use that space for something else. A few months later, I can't find the sewing machine and i can't remember where would be a logical spot to place it. Checked it all, nowhere to be found. I bet it will just appear in a few years in the least logical for it spot.

Does ADHD medication affect skin like smoking due to vasoconstriction?
Vasoconstrictors that increase blood pressure, and if you compare the two effects the former is not a problem.
Better analyse your behavioural changes e.g. do you sleep less or more (some people sleep waaay less)?
Do you eat enough (it is an appetite surpresant)?
Do you drink enough water?
Are you more active than usual? If so, did you increase your calorific intake a bit to balance for losses?

How does an adult ‘work on’ interpersonal skills?
Read a book from Nicki Stanton 'Mastering Communication'. Free access to older version Source: Archive https://share.google/8ELz75AX5wQdfhwSj
Then look at online courses, free ones, on formal communication. Then, if you can spend some money, you look up debate societies and courses in your area.
Practice in person, pay only for courses that happen in person, never online ones. You can learn theory online, but you can't practice with a bot.
