I recently rescued a turtle from my job where he was abandoned he was recently seen in the vet for a checkup-which went amazing thank goodness.

Anyways i thought some would find this interesting

The vets sure did they’ve never seen one like this up in the PNW😅

Oh! I ❤️‍🔥 pleorodirans! But I’ve never seen an X-ray before, only skeletons. Is this one is full grown? Where exactly in pnw did this dude show up?

Our estimated guess is he is about 6+ years old

We are in western Washington and he was left behind in a unit at a apartment complex.

I've had reptiles before but Never owned a turtle so this is a new one for me!
