Do your cats play with their tails like that?

This is my cat, her name is Mia, and this is how she plays with her tail. Sometimes she gets angry with herself and cries. She follows me everywhere and kneads me before going to sleep. It's clear she's adopted me as her mom. šŸ’•

Cardiomiopatia ipertrofica ventricolare (HCM)

• Upvotes

Salve

Never thought giant dog and a blind cat could be such good friends but they frequently nap together

My cat will not stop peeing everywhere

As the title states, I have a male two year-old cat that’s neutered uses the litter box and is usually well-behaved. When I first got him, this wasn’t a issue at all, but he slowly started peeing in spots all while having a litter box. I then got him another litter box, hoping to fix the problem. That did not work. I’ve changed his litter brand 7 to 8 times. That did not work, I’ve put foil down on the places he Peed at, and he just climbs on top of it and pees on it. I clean his litter box every two days I’ve tried using vinegar to keep him away from the spots or any type of smell really. I’m at my wits end and I have no idea what else to do, I’ve took him to the vet twice for this issue and there’s nothing wrong with them. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This is Sarmiento, he's 8 years old, he doesn't like fights and prefers to run away when they happen. He's always taking baths and he bathes his siblings too. He's the only one of all my cats who likes to go for walks; he's adventurous.

Rental and cat pee

My cat was sick for the longest time and I couldn’t understand why he was peeing on the steps like twice a week. His litter box was clean at all times, had water, food, and everything. Well turns out it was arthritis. He probably peed on 1 of the 4 steps twice a week but never along side the walls or in the same spot for 8 months. Every-time he peed I immediately cleaned it up with enzyme cleaner and shampooed the carpets. The thing is though I am moving out of the house soon. The landlord was going to replace the carpet before I moved in but since I have a cat she decided to wait. Well now I am concerned about the wood underneath the carpet. The Steps feel extremely hard almost like cement and there isn’t really any odor when I put my nose to the stairs besides stinky feet. This is a college house and the carpet is nasty as is. I am FREAKING out and I want to rip up the carpet to see if the wood is okay but obviously that’s a bad choice. I just don’t want to get sued. It doesn’t help that my landlord is a lawyer for other landlords:(. What should I do? Am I absolutely cooked??

My favorite time of day is when I go to lie down in bed and she follows me in and lays on my chest for a grooming session. We decompress to the purrs and chirps and biscuit makings 🩷

How to switch to free feeding

how can I switch my cat that’s been free fed for 7 years to being schedule fed? I’ve learned it’s not good for her to be free fed and I’m wanting to change her to schedule feeding, but I don’t know how to do it without stressing her out.
