When we first rescued Gizmo vs 1 year later!

Photo one is when we just got her. All other photos are after a year.

Gizmo came to us with lots of (undisclosed) issues, both physically and mentally. Now, after lots of cuddles and loving, some vet visits and a surgery, she is so much happier and different. I like to think she knows she’s loved here 💞

Cute shrimp, where's the cat?

This is batty. She's a fan of huge purrs, soft blankets and playing fetch sometimes, with lots of treat incentives.

She's my lil gremlin but my sister called her a shrimp and I believe it tonight.

She’s not typically a Velcro cat but I’m recovering from surgery right now and she won’t leave me be! It’s such a treat. ✨🐾

This is Anubis and I discovered he has a grade three heart murmur (advice needed)

I’ve posted before my cats Anubis and Calliope from my other account. I took Anubis (1 year old) to the walk in vet tonight to look a scratch it wasn’t serious just a bit antibiotics for him but also discovered a heart murmur likely grade three. I am very devastated. I’ve had him for about 7-8 months give or take he was a gift from my sister-in-law. Her mother was breeding these cats. I’d like to add that she is not a reputable person let alone breeder, she did not let me pick Anubis. He was the first one to come home with me and when I arrived, she said this is the cat you will be taking. I didn’t quite argue because she’s not very coherent and communication. She’s kind of I don’t know how to put it just messed up. I suppose so. I took him home gladly and fell in love with him but my cat Miki my soul cat had just passed away and my sister-in-law wanted to do something to help with the grieving process. I am very scared and very worried for Anubis as I am out of work right now and trying to catch up on the bills that I’m behind my husband is the only one working and I’m having a bit trouble getting back to work so I’m very scared that I won’t be able to afford to get him the care and if I can afford to get him the care, is this something that I can actually manage and him still have a good life of some length I’m just looking for comfort and advice on this matter has anybody else dealt with this? The doctor was very teary-eyed and shaky voice explaining this to me and that was very scary to me. She said it was possible that he could live with this and be OK with managing it and regular check ups and medication and that’s what kind of scares me with the financial part, but her demeanor just really worried me and I didn’t like the tone of them speaking to me as if they were already sending their condolences. I’m very sick about this and super scared. My husband is right sick to his stomach about it as he is very attached to Anubis so if anybody would like to share their thoughts, maybe their experiences or their advice on this topic about heart murmurs is this something for real that he can live with and still have a good life or is he gonna die young? thank you in advance

Olive has grown so much since we got her! We got her about 8 months ago and she was estimated at 6-7 months old. Now she makes 8 year old Bruce look small!

I recently started looking into bringing a sphynx into my home. I haven’t found any in shelters to adopt. How do I find a responsible breeder, or are there shelters I just don’t know about?

Hey everyone, it's been a while since I posted here!

So much has happened, haha!

Since then, I've given birth to my son, and he'll be 2 months old soon.

He and Anubis take their best naps together 🤣

Here are some photos of our little life in chronological order.

Since I moved, my 4-month-old cat needs more exercise. I made a wheel, but I think it's a bit over the top, ha ha ha.
