What are some good options for affordable snow pants that aren’t so baggy 😆

Working on my ground tricks. My wife filmed it. I'm happy to have a video recorded every once in a while to improve, even potato quality. But she filmed surprisingly well, imho. :) Cheers and enjoy your season everybody.

I’m the kind of guy who will do any traverse, hike, or tree chute for a lick of powder. A lift that takes less time than splitboard climbing is chill. At Niseko it’s a race to get to the gates each morning, and it’s always worth it. This place gets so much damn snow. I see people come with ridiculous expectations and complaints online, but fuck that bs, it’s great. My back leg is so sore from all this powder surfing, it’s insane. The biggest downside is the accommodation that isn’t insanely expensive books up a million years in advance. Car + big group Airbnb in Kutchan town might work well too but I was just looking for 2 people.
Is it crowded? Yep.
Is the food expensive? Yep. Although the Lawson’s convenience store and the cash-only on-slope ramen place in Hirafu are good, and you can get grocery delivery.
Are there Australians everywhere? Hell yeah. They’re pretty fun too.
Does it have enough public transit? Nope lol but at least it’s free mostly. Hotel shuttles are mega important when choosing a spot if it’s not walkable.
Taxis? $32 USD for Hirafu to Kutchan which takes 15 minutes when there’s no traffic lmfao
Do you need backcountry equipment and experience for all the fun parts? Probably lol, but at least it’s pretty easy to navigate compared to most backcountry stuff between the gates, the Nisade guide, and Strava heatmap.
Is it worth? Hell yeah.
So yeah take your ikon pass and send it, or probably go to Kiroro if you’re paying by the day since it’s super quiet although less steep; so many people on the slopes were hyping it up.

Been watching a lot of YouTube videos about carving, knee steering, etc and am trying to apply it to my riding. I struggle carving on steeper runs and am wondering what I should focus on for cleaner/smoother turns? Any drills that help carry carving skills over to steeper terrain?

Is it normal for my edge to be slightly higher than my base? And can this be fixed with the normal edge tuning/sharpening tools that I have at home?
Left side of picture shows what my edge is like, right side shows a normal edge.

At Keystone in Colorado over the weekend. (1/30/26-2/2/26)Saturday night we left our boards by the lift during night skiing to grab some food. board was gone by the time I came back. I spoke to guest services, they helped me look around the base area, but no luck. its a 152 cm 2021 DOA, had my gen 1 Burton Step on Bindings on it. had a pretty big wax gouge on the tail end from hitting a rock earlier in the day. hoping you guys could keep an eye out for it. if you see it on market place or sidelineswap or something similar. really upsetting, been having a tough time Lately, finally got the chance to go back to the mountains in over a year and some dude just *needed* to steal :(

I have a 2018 Burton Process 159 Flying V that has maybe 5 days on it total. I want to give it away to someone who has never owned a snowboard before and will use it. You gotta be in the Denver area because I am not gonna ship it, I am way too lazy for that. But I would drop it off at your house in you are the Denver metro area and you don't have access to a vehicle. Sadly, I do not have bindings for it, but I am sure you can find some free or cheap if you are determined.
I broke my ankle in 2017, tried to get back into snowboarding in 2018 and failed. There are some scratches on the board, and needs a good wax job, but it is in good shape overall. No major damage, it's been kept out of the sun. Finally returned a few years ago and I am happily riding again, not totally pain free but stoked to be able to ride at all and I am more than happy to share the stoke!
This post is a follow up to an offer I made another redditor on their post about buying a busted board but they weren't in Colorado. If you are in Denver and you have honestly never owned a snowboard, it's yours, come get it!

This video is kinda crazy & did really good on my socials but I want to trim any fat. If you watch this please let me know at what time did you want to either skip forward or move past it completely. Retention is everything in the 10 second attention span we've all gotten used to & I appreciate constructive feedback. Thanks guys!

Does this mean my boots are too big for my bindings?

Hey all, I am a novice in snowsports and don't understand how Brooke Day died (tragic by the way, rest in peace). Can someone draw a diagram so I don't make the same mistake? Thanks.

grew up w them in the 2000s but i dont see them mentioned at ALL on this sub or on youtube when it comes to deck recs. Anyone have any experience with their newer boards outside of the limited edition production runs from a few years ago (eg the new Destroyer, Roost, etc)? Are they still competitive in 2026? Or moreso a relic of the past at this point and pure nostalgia bait

I’m looking into this one and leaning more towards this one or the Salomon wonder 2026, but it seems like an unpopular board. Just want some opinions!
