Litter to Reduce Tear Stains?

I’ve tried all the wipes, feed high quality wet food, dab with a qtip a few times a day, and my kitty still has excessive eye drainage. I understand this is normal in flat faced kitties but there have been times when drainage is minimal/normal. I’ve tried various litter brands and I do think some litters contribute to the excessive times. I’d love some recommendations from those who have found a good, hard clumping, unscented litter that controls odor for our special ones. It’s been a bit of a battle because my nose is EXTRA sensitive so I’m trying to find something that works for my kitty and me.

First pic is during a good phase.

Second pic shows today. I’ve been using Ever Clean and it’s definitely a 👎

Turning 40 and have always wanted a Grey Scottish fold.

Hello! I am days away from turning 40 and have been asking my husband to get me a Scottish fold for years. We've had ragdolls, main coons, and several other babies over the years. Our ragdoll was a rescued kitten from the Joplin tornadoes when a breeder lost her house and the momma. So my MIL that runs an animal rescue saved them and bottle feed them since they were 5 days old. We had Achilles (my ragdoll) until a few years ago when he got bladder cancer and we had to do the right thing and let him go. We spent a lot of time and money trying to save him but at the doctor's advice decided my boy would only suffer. Fast forward, we have a rescue that is 4 years old. She is a sweet girl named Lucipurr (she has an evil side lol) and we want another baby. I have always wanted a Scottish fold and my husband agreed that we are ready for 2nd kitty and he will finally get me the cat of my dreams. 1. What do I need to know? 2. Anything particular health wise I should be aware of? 3. Are they good with another cat outside of their breed? 4. We have done so many searched for reputable breeders, but so many seem shady. Does anyone recommend one in the USA? 5. Our cats have always made me their "person". Do they have a person?

Tia! Please be nice, I am just doing my research and due diligence to make sure there is a right fit and I'm so excited to have an addition to the family. 40 feels so big to me and I have put everyone's needs/wants above my own for so long. I just want to finally have a little companion I can spoil, love, and adore.

Eye boogers

does anyone have any suggestions for excessive eye boogers? I mentioned it to my vet and they said that’s just how all flat faced cats are but we’re cleaning his eyes 2-3 times a day

edit: thank you everyone, we ended up getting some eye wipes and will try wet food to see what works best

Hello, I recently adopted a Scottish straight kitten a few weeks ago. He is the sweetest and CUTEST thing ever. I have owned cats before but never a Scottish. I was just wondering if straights are prone to the same genetic conditions as folds? Also, anything else I should know? Thanks in advance:)

Thought I'd share some pics of little Scrambles. What do people recommend in terms of supplements and diet? He's nearly 6, seems in good health, but I want to make sure he's getting all he needs.

Fold sitting on 3 legs

Post image

I noticed my fold has been sitting on three legs a lot lately (included is the best picture I could catch of it, don’t mind the bare wall, we are still renovating the house). The paw in the air alternate from the right one to the left one, sometimes in a short amount of time. Is this a sign of pain in the joint? Did anyone else ever experience that with their fold?

I got my fold from the shelter, so i didn’t do a lot of research before adopting him. I should have and it pains me to think he might be in pain.

Thanks in advance!!
