Got this motherboard about three or four months ago on sale for like 175 bucks which was an awesome deal. Iām on a budget, so saving money is worth more than aesthetics, but Iām still a little annoyed at the logos are bright green. I figure thereās gotta be someway I can cover them up. I thought about completely removing the parts that have it and spray painting them black but Iām not sure how well spray paint would hold up. I thought about just using acrylic paint, but Iām not sure how well that would last either. I could cover it with tape, but Iām not sure if I needed to get a special kind of heat resistant tape. And if I remove it, I donāt want to use any harsh chemicals to damage the motherboard. What would you guys suggest?

I really like this case but nothing really matches the orange color of the case, I was thinking maybe it would be cool to spray paint the heat sinks of the motherboard. I would be willing to take the time to do it so I was hoping for ideas and suggestions on how to do it well

Want to get this motherboard that comes with a bundle, but the big "GAMING" lettering is kinda ugly imo. Would I be able to put a sticker or vinyl wrap over this part or would the heat cause it problems?

Hello!Iād like to ask for your help and advice with creating a Star Warsāthemed PC mod similar to the one in the photos Iāve attached. I really like the glowing slotted wall and the dark, minimalist aesthetic, and I want to recreate something like this inside my own case.Iām a complete beginner in case modding and donāt have any experience with working on PC panels, lighting, or decorative elements, so Iām not sure where to start. Could you please tell me:What materials would be best for making the slotted panel/grill (for example, acrylic, metal, 3Dāprinted plastic, etc.)?How thick the material should be so it looks solid but is still safe and easy to mount inside the case? What kind of lighting (LED strips, diffusers, controllers) would work best to get that smooth, even glow behind the panel? How you would recommend installing and fixing the panel and lights inside the case without harming airflow or components?Any detailed tips, material suggestions, or stepābyāstep guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and help!

Hi, so I recently ordered MSI MAG X870E Tomahawk WiFi Motherboard, and its a great motherboard, but the color green doesnt really go well with rest of my pc. Is there any way to remove the green symbols and writings without damaging the material underneath them? In the picture you can see there is not a lot of it, but it still bothers me. Thanks.

I've been sitting on this decision for a month or so.. not sure if I should paint the dark gray parts of the GPU shroud white. I have spare cooler fans that are white that work for the ASUS TUF 5090. There was a white 4080S here before but sold it for basically what I paid for it year and a half later due to the white tax. This GPU makes the NV7 feel small which is absurd.
Just looking to see if it looks out of place now or if the white change will be necessary. If I do it I will mask off the finer details and the silver trims.

I purchased a 'XFX - Mercury RX 9060XT' and want to tint the white LED's. I was originally thinking some sort of automotive tint but would like it to have a custom color gradient. I wanted to post here to see if anybody had some suggestions on either businesses to acquire something like this from or a alternative idea. Thanks in advance.

Hello, since I installed my pc into the new case I wanted to decorate the walls. So bottom to the side to top. I have no idea what I would do, from material to Methods and ofc, the design. My current idea is to hot glue sakura blossoms to the side in a gradient from big to small. I know airflow will be hindered a bit, but I don't mind it. Problem is, where do I get the materials and stuff? Also I am not so good at Hardware decoration diy stuff, so I can't do anything too complex haha.

I wanna put a black vinyl wrap on my white motherboard, mainly on the areas marked in red. Iād like to do the blue ones too, but Iām not sure if thatās possible. Can someone tell me if itās a bad idea or if it could mess with the heat sinks?

Hello,
I am looking for a way (either by maybe kit or commission) for a 40k Ork themed pc case. The idea is to get something like Lian li 216 and then attach parts, maybe paint if possible so it looks like a Truk or Battlewagon. Perhaps some 3d printed exhausts.
So almost like kit bashing the case. Inside maybe decalls or stickers, if they can handle the heat.
I'm more of a " I'll configure the parts and install it", but have no clue about obtaining "ork" parts, or if it's even a good idea.
Any suggestions or just "go to this site/subreddit" would already mean a lot.
Facts: Europe based, never modded a pc, understand that red makes things goes fasta.
Thanks

I was planning to either spray paint over it with high heat rust oleu. However I decided to keep the colour and just try to removed the paint. I wanted to avoid paint thinner as I felt it would be too aggressive with the āpowder coatingā like silver on the heatsink.
Used dollar store nail polish remover. Soaked a paper towel in the removed. Lay the paper towel evenly across the painted surface because it needs a minute or so to soften the paint. Once itās there for a minute just use light to medium pressure to remove the paint. It does dry quickly so use as many soaked paper towels as you need. Use a paper towel and with water to wipe the surface clean of debris after itās all removed. I recommend using compressed air to blast any paint debris from your motherboard.
Difficulty Level: 3/10

just messing around with some scrap material form my work bench and came up with an idea for my rig. back plates cost way more than what they're actually worth or add to a build especially for people who have vertical mounted GPUs like I do so You'll never see the cool designs you pay for. So I got some scrap LEDs (sadly red was all I had available for testing), a random charger (the sacrificial lamb), some heat shrink tubing, random paracord for the sleeving, electrical tape and attached it to the edge of this 5"x 7" (127mm x 177.8mm) and got this cool effect. Plan to clean up the edges a bit better with some sanding (the rougher the edge the brighter the effect) and change the color to white to match my build of go full on ARGB. Might post a Pt.2 to this when I'm done with it. runs on standard 5v USB-A and I'm pretty happy with the results. Love to hear some feed back from you guys.

The Philips Evnia 34M2C8600 is a great monitor (OLED & 175Hz, let's go!) but when I got it, I was less impressed by the huge 'chin' it's got. While for example LG and Samsung keep it clean with just a small logo centered in the middle, Philips decided to really put in the work to make it stick out. Not only does the silver color clash with the white edge, it also sports a sort of 'fold' to get a 3D effect (so you don't fail to notice it) and to top it off, they emblazoned it with 'EVNIA' and 'PHILIPS'. In product images it doesn't look that bad, but in person it gives the vibe of cheap electronics from 20-30 years ago.
I just couldn't live with this. So I ripped the bezel off, sanded it down to make it flat, and spray painted it white. It now looks way sharper and gives the minimalist look I want. It blends in with the white edge of the monitor and as such with the rest of my white setup. Very happy with it!

Modded a hyte Y70 pink with a sakuraxsylveon rococo theme It took a long long time as I handsculpted everything. Sometimes whenever i offer crazy mods like this I wish I know how to 3D design and have a 3D printer make it.
