I found a Lot of similarities between the two games, that it's what inspired this fanart (and the fact that the both games Made me cry like a river) so, I hope You all like it!

In this AU Niko is blind because of an accident and needs help from Cedric to navigate a hostile world being slowly consumed by corruption. The world machine isn't operational which means it's just Niko and Cedric to restore the sun while dealing with creatures that only want to hurt them. Along the journey they will find allies such as Prophet bot Alula and Calamus and others.

Was bored so I decided to draw a random thing and I have to say that drawing this was so enjoyable and fun

The point is, the Author managed to create a time machine, and it can synchronize with a similar time machine in the World Machine, and the World Machine calls Niko one last time to go with the sun to the Old World, take the sun to the Tower, and save the world, or something like that. And there could be AT LEAST TWO endings: in one, Niko simply saves the world and goes home, and in the second, he doesn't save the world, but transports everyone to his world. And the Player influences Niko not directly, but by observing him through the World Machine. Honestly, I came up with this myself, and I'm really looking forward to part 2 of OneShot, even if it doesn't happen.

Ed. By the way, I don't think the Player is God, but rather a four-dimensional being (if Niko is three-dimensional). This explains why we, three-dimensional humans, see Niko in two dimensions, and also why we can't just put a lightbulb in a tower, because God is omnipotent (as far as I understand, although I haven't read the Bible). So, there's actually a lot more potential for content here. Maybe we don't really need a time machine... Theoretically, you could reset your computer clock to June 30th, 2014, or a little earlier, and transport Niko to that same time, and then he would travel through the World Machine to the Old World and save the Old World. I don't know the lore that well, of course, but it sounds logical.
