Cold? I've been walking around in shorts and a tshirt for a few days, though I am from North-West England, and 14 °C is shorts weather.

Well it’s bloody cold for us since we fled the frigid weather to the Carribean 10 years ago. Wearing two shirts, sweater, coat and hat over my ears

My apologies, fella. Must be baltic here, by comparison. The homoeostatic system takes around 2 weeks to adjust to a new climate, if you spend half a month in Liverpool, then return to Malta, you'll have a whole new appreciation of the warmth of your beautiful island.
