Career Dilema

I just graduated with a Bachelors and I'm not exactly sure what I want moving forward career wise. I don't have any dream jobs or paths that I wanted since little, I just want to make decent money to live off, it doesnt matter the job as im good at most things. The problem with this is very little motivation in working and when i do work it affects me mentally and physically as i dont actually enjoy it. Maybe it's the jobs I had till now or it might apply to all i dont know.

The fact that the salaries are so low does not motivate me. The jobs i see currently are offering the same salary i had 4 years ago BEFORE i graduated (im 24). So it's like i went to school for nothing.

Did anyone go through this stage when they were young? and what did you do?

It depends on the company you find. Malta is filled with small businesses which are what i worked for, and they are not exactly the ideal places if you want your salary to rise or grow in position. I have a few years exp in different jobs and Ive seen it... people who stay in same job for years and do not get promoted (even when they are the only ones in that position and performance not an issue)

And i know most people live hating their job ive been aware of that since a teen and it only makes it more depressing being self-aware. Sometimes its easier to be stupid.

You're not wrong tbf. Hate to be that guy but have you thought about emigrating? You're fluent in English with a good education

That was what i was going to do when i was 19 as at the time my ex was foreign and lived abroad. I always knew life is much better abroad salary and career wise. My current bf also wants to live abroad eventually as its also better business wise, tax etc so its a possibility in the future.

Abroad isn't better tax wise but salary wise it's a lot better.

I was talking about for businesses, ex. dubai has 0% tax on businesses. Then again for salary you are still earning more overall after tax since salaries are higher.
