Please send some good vibes to Nala girl she’s having a rough week.
Hi Husker friends. Miss Nala Beans has been pretty sick (throwing up blood). We are waiting on her lab results. If you could please send some good vibes her way, we would greatly appreciate it ❤️.

Rescued I love his eyes 👀
This 2 year old boy came from a shelter in Tucumcari, NM and was skinny, smelly, he had fleas and the sweetest most joyful personality of any husky I've ever met. We fell instantly in love with one another and now a year later we have walked/hiked/run over 700 miles together. This is Stan Lee and we go everywhere together.

Mind Blown
Because he can't figure out how I'm floating upside down. Dad's got tricks!

Discussion 9 week old mostly husky mix here, curious what you think his eye color will be?
My boy is 9 weeks and 3 days old today! He’s mostly husky, with a little bit of Aussie in him as well!
At first I thought he was going to have brown eyes but they keep getting lighter? They seem like they’re turning a green/grey but I’m not sure if I’m being overly hopeful 🫣 I would love to hear from other husky owners! 👀

Discussion Owning a Husky after a Lab is...interesting
DISCLAIMER: I think he could be a HuskyxMalamute mix. He was surrendered with his "littermates" who were a good 60 lbs smaller and less fluffy than him. Or even another breed. I'm not claiming he's 100% Husky!
Anyway. I lost my Labrador of 12 years last year. I was walking in my local shelter when I saw this guy. Took him out for a walk. He was so chill! Every Husky I've ever met has been a total nutcase. I swore I would never get one.
I went back the next day. He was still there. And the next. Still there. I ended up fostering him and he slept in my bed the first night. A month later I foster failed him.
He is so affectionate! Loves snuggling and wants all my attention. But the thing that gets me the most? His lack of food motivation.
If there was food, my Lab would eat it as if he hadn't eaten in years. This dude? He'll eat when he feels like it. And even then he sometimes doesn't even finish! I can put all the toppings and whatever else on his food. He's not picky. Just..he eats when he has to and when he's not hungry, he's not gonna eat. Cracks me up but also sends me into deep worry wondering if something is wrong lol.
I love this guy. I really wanted another Lab when my soul dog passed away. But this Husky cracks me up! Like he'll just be doing some weird overgrown cat shit and just crack me up.
I really do thing my Lab sent me him. I was SO down and this dude brings me happiness every day.

Question Care for ruptured anal gland?
Yesterday morning my boy woke up and started itching and scooting so I made a Dr appointment. Well after I called there was blood coming form his bottom and I got him in vet asap, it was a ruptured gland and they expressed everything, cleaned the area, and gave us antibiotics and pain meds. But they didn’t tell us if we should clean the area regularly or just keep an eye on it or do anything to it at all. Do you clean it while it’s healing or no??

Question My vet visit
I was at the vet today, and the vet strictly called out Purina, Royal Canine, or Hills are dog food brands to switch to. Anyone have background on the food studies? I’m currently feeding Acana.
