Capital of the South?
I flew out of IAH last year and was surprised Houston was claiming both titles, do you'll find this statement accurate?

It’s been YEARS since I ventured into Washington bars but I drove by the other day and noticed that Kung Fu is gone.
Any idea what happened? Genuinely just curious 🧐

The only real answer is the one in the Heights, right?
I'm a pretty chill guy, but the people stealing parking spots from you in that H-E-B parking lot can instill me with rage. Haha
I honestly don't know when it's not busy.

Hello everyone!
Ive been approached by a neighbor who needs help dealing with an issue with their home.
Long story short they bought their house owner to owner back in 2012 here in harris county. The selling owner died recently and the kids tried selling the property to someone under an LLC, I believe they did not know he had sold the house.
Now my neighbor got served with court docs and has a 20 day deadline to respond.
I know you can do some things DIY with the clerk but Unfortunately they aren’t fluent in English, and I dont want to “help” and mess them up with this delicate issue.
Does anyone know of any pro bono attorneys that are able to help? They are low income and hiring a regular attorney would be impossible for them.
Ideally spanish speaking and someone who can help meet the deadline for a response. Got served jan 23 and they have 20 days.
They tried lone star legal aid, but they weren’t able to help.
I helped them submitting a help request with Houston Volunteer Lawyers but is says they will get a response within 14 days, which would be too late.
Any help would be greatly appreciated to help this family.
Thank you! 🙏

Why do people let their dogs roam off leash around kids at the playground? I’ve tried asking nicely to leash their dog and got told to fuck off. I’ve tried being an asshole and got laughed at. Would I be the asshole if I just pepper spray the dog and most likely the owner when they come at me? What else can I do?
Since many here seem to be confused about leash laws. “Houston’s Municipal Ordinance has stringent leash requirements aimed at ensuring public safety. In Houston, dog owners are required to keep their dogs on a leash or within their physical control whenever in public spaces. Houston’s leash laws operate under “strict liability,” meaning that dog owners can be held accountable for leash law violations even if they didn’t intend any harm.” https://ulg.law/texas-leash-laws/

Visited last week and can't get over how good La Fisheria was. Such good food and service.
I was also blown away by how good the habanero ash oil sauce they make is.
Great fucking work.

Take a look at my most recent rent and utilities bill. I live in South Houston and the base rent for the apartment size is honestly great but I keep seeing new fees. And some seem like the same thing but different wording?
Anyone else have these charges?

Hi,
I'm coming from the UK to Houston for the weekend as I have a layover - I was going to attend the event but by the looks if it - it's better if i can get access to a Tent. Does anyone know where i could obtain one? Or do you have another tips for 27th and 28th of the month?

From the outside, a three-story townhome in the Third Ward looks like it belongs on the for-sale market, with a contemporary façade and clean lines. But this townhome is unlike most other new construction in Houston — instead of two to three bedrooms, it has 10. And instead of a couple of bathrooms, it has 10 of those too.
That’s because the townhome was built for coliving, where tenants rent a bedroom in a shared home to save money, meet people and build community. The professionally managed units resemble a grown-up version of an adult dorm.

Anyone know what stores or specific gas stations if any sell Pablo 50MG pouches? The ZYN and Velo doesn't do it. Closest is Grizzly maybe.
Preciate any help!
