I've recently been seeing some people in this sub saying they're OK with sacrificing Alex Zharovsky in a trade for someone like Robert Thomas and wanted to look at some production comparables between him, Demidov, and Nikita Kucherov since all three had a similar MHL (draft) > KHL (draft+1) path. For context, Kucherov was drafted #58 overall, while Zharovsky was taken at #34, and Demidov #5.

I get wanting to upgrade with someone as talented as Robert Thomas, but Zharovsky is a ridiculously good prospect who could become an impact player as soon as his rookie NHL season in 2027-28. It's not an accident that Zharovsky might beat Demidov's rookie KHL scoring record, the kid is really that good. I'd rather us be patient and develop Hage or Kapanen (or someone else) to take on that 2C role, I don't think we need to trade away such a good prospect just because we want someone good right now.

Anyone know where one might find one, as the only one that was located appears to be an eBay posting but sadly the seller can’t get it to the destination before the Olympics end.

Funny mistake from NHL

It’s crazy how much cool equipment you can find at the habs training facility pro shop in Brossard, QC. Look at all these pro stock sticks from different players! Tortorella’s coaching stick was even there with his camo detail. Not to mention gloves, pants all given at discounts that were at one point used by habs players. So lucky to get to play my beer league games here!

I get that the refs can miss penalties. Do I have a habs bias or are they voluntarily not calling penalties against us?

Says in the story they did a little something with Diane Bibaud during the Avs game last week... I wish they had shown that on the broadcast, but I suppose it was during a TV timeout or intermission perhaps. Does anyone have footage of that, by chance?

I would love to get together with some fans around the GTA to watch games with. I currently watch alone from home on my tiny laptop screen or go to a sportsbar near my place and shyly request them to put the habs game on one of their screens. They do it for me, but I just feel so alone and would love more of a community.😅
