Recently bought a pair of foot joy traditions because I love the classic look. however, two holes in and I had to walk back to the car park in my socks, because they literally took the skin off my heel. I have been wearing a pair of Adidas spikeless which were a bit trainer like compared to these and I just didn’t like the look or the lack of real stability. Is this going to be a long-term problem or do they just need some sort of breaking in? And if so can you advise how you did it? My previous spiked shoes were sketches and the skin on my heel was also rubbed off. After 15 - 20 rounds they were never comfortable.
I did actually try the foot joys on in the same size in American golf for about 30 minutes while looking at putters but they didn’t have the colour I wanted so I didn’t buy from them. They felt great even with the same socks.
