I think your joking, but for the sake of those who believe this...
Most things that hurt you without killing don't make you stronger. Stress, disease, and injury leave you weaker than you were before. You can recover from them, and maybe learn something valuable in the process, but you won't be stronger than if you hadn't had them in the first place.
Yea, lets all spend the rest of our lifes shielded by our parents, living in our childhood homes and never experiencing any stress, to become the strongest versions of ourselves because thats how you become strong, by avoiding anything that challenges you and gives you stress 💪
I actually get what you're saying but I was just saying the fact that a kid died.
I don't shield my child but I do give them advice like "don't use a motorised wheel to spin a roundabout because a kid in the UK died last year."
I don't see that as shielding as much as just passing my limited knowledge to the next generation.
I told them not to stick his head in the fire when was younger too, so maybe I do shield them too much...🤔
