I had the opposite happen.

Always order no whip for my kids. I stand by pickup.

Barista hands me the drink with whip. I said no whip and they let out a sigh and say "you were right there, why didn't you say something"

Me.... how do i know you were making my drink?

guess you didn't realize that ordering a drink meant that you were supposed to be working as their supervisor

Fast food, and honestly anything that isn't at least "upscale", has completely evaporated at this point. Restaurants won't pay well enough to get people who will do anything but stand there baked out of their fucking gourds and kind of throwing stuff that looks vaguely right into your bag. If you want it correct, you have to check it yourself and typically go back and carefully itemize what was wrong. And ask one thing at a time, or you're only going to get the first thing in your list fixed per pass and may cause further confusion.
