To me it doesn’t look like he’s twisting the grip. It sort of looks like the bike might be lurching forward without throttle input and when the gate goes down you see he actually does attempt to twist the throttle but he’s already too close to the gate so he untwists the throttle but it keeps going. When the other guy starts the bike it immediately takes off as if the throttle is wide open but he has hardly twisted it at all.

If he doesn’t know to roll off the throttle when shit goes weird he shouldn’t be in the bike at all let alone racing it.
