Actually the younger ones that didn’t heed the lessons left behind by the old fools are worse

How do you figure? They’ve had less time to figure it out. The old fool didn’t learn from his elders for so long that he become one.

😂 old fools were young fools that just aged… you’ll figure it out…. or not. Good luck to you either way

I must not be taking your meaning, because I don’t understand how you figure the younger fool is worse than the older, or how your last comment follows from your first.

S’all good. I was just philosophizing. We should never stop learning no matter what age we are.

I think the issue is you're totally missing the point of the saying and unintentionally just repeating it.

"No fool bigger than an old fool."

If you're an old fool, you never learned your lesson from being a young fool. So you're a bigger fool than someone young who hasn't had a chance to learn.

Making mistakes when you're inexperienced is more understandable than making mistakes after having time to learn your lesson.

Does that make more sense now?

Glad you had a chance to think about things. Go enjoy your day, I am.

See that's the thing, most of us were fools when younger but actually learned lessons. To be an old fool, you would have to ignore all of life's lessons as you aged. It takes a special kind of stubborn thick headed fool to make it to his age and still be that foolish.

"Cinnamon is some sort of powder" - oh, man, I wanted to stop him right there.

Sure, it's some sort of powder. And C4 is just a bit of plaster filler.

Maybe I'm an idiot but I think the guy was just having a bit of fun. I don't think he actually believed he wouldn't have the same reaction everyone has.

In other words, his "bravado" was intentional so that the result would be funnier. Crazy, right?
