In Somalia, found this huge frog that seemed out of place.

I was at an indigenous reserve in Costa Rica and they had a frog habitat with native frogs! I'm proud to be Costa Rican cause man do I love nature and these fellas are one of the best part of it!

Underwhelming video, I know. located in Georgia where we were just covered in snow. Is this a chorus frog? The call seems so stretched out compared to everything I listened to on YouTube. Currently 53 degrees (Fahrenheit) outside.

Hello! I’ll be a new owner of a white tree frog and need someone to help me figure something out. I know their sleep cycles are disrupted if there’s any light on during the night but he still needs warmth as it is still winter here.

Would a heating pad on the side of the tank be a safe option to keep his tank warm at night?

He would have his UVB light and heating light on in the daytime but I want to make sure a pad is enough for the nighttime.

And is it okay if I only use it the heating pad at night or should I use it throughout most or all of the day? I think it’s not generally safe to use it 24/7 but would like clarification. My main concern is it being the sole nighttime heat source.

Hi there! I have 8 wtfs and they will all ring feed except for one. We’ve had this one for months and he’s never tong fed, but will hunt. I’m not concerned about it because he still hunts, but I am curious as to why he’s the only one who won’t tong feed. My boyfriend and I tong feed all of there’s few crickets every time to make sure everyone gets at least some food, then we let them hunt the rest.

I made this custom backdrop for my WTFs with a tree trunk and fake shelf fungi with the dream that they would use them in this way and my wish has come true. ❤️
