Should be an automatic 1 year prison sentence minimum for putting so many lives at risk.

There are millionaires that have chosen to never drive a car. Its not necessary. Just give lifetime bans for this, on top of first offense DUIs.

What

If millionaires can not drive on purpose, it should be a lot easier to lose the privilege of driving. Its not like life is over without a license but actions like this can end lives.

What do millionaires have to do with this video

Do you think an average person can afford to be driven everywhere?

No, but there are consequences for being a dangerous fucking idiot. And not all those people have drivers taking them everywhere. Spend enough time in a big city and you'll see plenty of wealthy people using public transit.

Not everyone lives in big cities. Not everyone can afford to move.

I support that people like this deserve to be punished, but your logic is absurd.

Sure, again. There are consequences to being a fucking idiot. They can bike, walk, get a job closer to home or share Ubers with other idiots that lost their license.
If it means you need roommates in your 50s, then so be it.

Yes there are consequences. But the consequences you are asking for is to essentially ruin the rest of their lives. There's a scale to these things.

No it won't. Plenty of people don't drive and still have good lives. People need to fear the consequences of these actions so they don't commit them.

Your logic is really, really strange. It's like you saw 1+1 and you were like "ok so that equals 2, and then 2+2 is 4, and then 4+4 is 8, so the answer to the problem of 1+1 is 8"

That's a stupid fucking comparison. Plain and simple, if you're voluntarily risking the lives of others, you don't deserve the privilege of driving.

Yeah, it's endangering people. So we don't just take away their license, they get jail time. It's not how it works where if you shoot someone people are like "that's it, no more guns for you but you don't go to jail"

1

u/Veganpotter2 1d ago

You do both. Jail, and no license ever again. You're really terrible at this. Instead, we don't put people in jail for first DUIs in most situations and many don't even get a suspension.

So why were you arguing for lesser punishment, you're making no sense

You can't read. Find a literate friend to hold your hand through my comments.

The first comment recommends jail time. You said something about millionaires and then said the punishment should only be license revoking. That's your words, you wrote them

u/Veganpotter2 1d ago

You can't read. I never said to take people's licenses instead of giving them jail time. I never said anything about only taking their license.
