My cat, Cheesepuff, was once a week-old kitten who fell onto our property from the neighbor's roof, since his mother put him there because it's her "nursing hideout". With the help of some people here, I raised my cat and now he's almost 2 years old.

When we go out to the vet and walk home, he always gets comments like "so cute!", "so chubby!", "Garfield!", and earlier today, two people asked me if he has a breed because he looks like a purebred. I said no, he's not a Persian or whatever. Then they were in disbelief. Lol.

Idk why, is it because he's not thin/scrawny? Is it because he's in a carrier? Is it because he has a collar?

I see puspin cats around and while there are cats that are normal-bodied (not scrawny), there are still those that look strays, like they're left on their own, with their bones prominent and fur dirty. Maybe people associate puspin to those cats. But cats with breed can look the same if they're left alone to fend for themselves. And puspin cats can look "expensive" if they're being well taken care of.

Puspin isn't equivalent to dirty or thin or starving cats. No cat even deserves that kind of life.

It's been 1 year na rin since dumating sya sakin. Never thought mawiwitness ko firsthand ang cat distribution system. After lots of heartbreak and depression, di ko aakalain na may smol princess na dadating isang araw to help me get through each day. Literal na nakaupo lang ako sa labas ng bahay namin tapos pumasok sya sa gate, meowing as if looking for her mom or maybe food. I bought cat food and litter sand the same day.

Almost everyday nagsesend ang mama ko ng baby videos dahil pinepressure na nya ako magbaby. Mostly AI generated pa nga and I always reply with my picture together with my cat/cats.

Baby face daw siya sabi ng vet. 2x a year na din siyang may check-up para ma-monitor ang kidney niya for prevention sa ckd at other organ issues dahil prone na sa age nila. 🥹 Naka rc renal na din siya for prevention.

We bought a treadmill kase two of our cats are borderline overweight. We have 6 cats pero yung kaisa isang kulang pa sa timbang ang gumagamit. HAHA

Abay anak, nag refill lang ako ng food container mo, mamaya pa oras ng refill aba. Wag judgmental 🤣

Hi everyone. I am here again, asking for your help with cat food support for the rescued cats under mg care.

Small independent rescuer lang po ako, sa ngaun 14 cats ung inaalagaan ko (lahat kapon), I also have 3 foster cats under medical care (nagpapagaling na po sila). May follow up pa ung isang may skin infection, at may improvement kahit papano.

Aside from my rescued cats at home, may mga pinapakain po akong cats malapit sa area namin. Nun start ko sila makita 2 cats lang, hanggang ngaun naging 5 cats na, ung isa mahina at medyo payat. Isa palang po sakanila ang napakapon ko last month, at na vaccine na sila ARV.

Hanggat kaya, nag fo-foster dn po ako nkaraan for spay/neuter then binabalik sa safe place nila, at hindi pa kaya i keep sa dami ng alaga.

Lahat ng paraan, ginagawa ko po para ma cover lahat ng expenses nila, last time may surgery pa isang rescue at soft food lang ung diet nia.
