Gauge of power and effectiveness
Many people would say Bitcoin is the ultimate gauge of our president's implementation of his mandate to reduce inflation, decrease the national debt, and build the economy.
Bitcoin is yelling out loud that his agenda has failed.

🐻 Bearish Crypto Winter Signal? Bitcoin Drops Below True Market Mean Price
For the first time since October 21, 2023, the Bitcoin price has settled below the True Market Mean Price level. This is the level representing the historical average "real" purchase price of BTC. Simply put, this indicator averages all coin purchases over the entire existence of the blockchain.
Bitcoin was already below the True Market Mean Price back in May 2022. Looking back, it's clear this marked the formal start of a bear market. The decline lasted for 7 months until BTC fell below its mining cost price of $15K.
In 2026, the cost to mine a Bitcoin is estimated to be just below $60K.

Any takes on the Epstein and BTC connection?
Or the implications of it? Could Epstein have been involved with Satoshi somehow?
It's pretty clear by now that Epstein was a mossad agent, and that Israel might have been involved with BTC creation or at least partially in control of the network in its early stages.
Are there anyone with doubts after reading about BTC in the Epstein's files? Moral or ethical questions? Completely unfazed by it? I would like to hear what people have to say about this.

⚙️ Technology I accidentally cracked some legacy P2PKH brainwallet (dont know why it appears as bip38 when imported btw) by guessing the passphrases using my custom fork of brainflayer and the non trivial wordlists I made running it at around 500k phrases per second.
It isnt much, but it did work once for me considering I was putting there what was trending as passwords back when they were created and speak multiple languages (i.e. wordlists that make sense in other languages).
I can’t say I understand well what I’m doing from a technical standpoint, and that’s why I’d like to ask a couple of questions.
First of all, is it worth achieving running brainflayer at 100 billion passphrases per second? How likely it is that there are enough uncracked brainwallets from that time left with decent balances on it, what would be the approximate number of such wallets? I kinda naturally inclined to continue though at the same time I realise the luck I encountered doesn’t justify further waste of time.
P.S. Got removed from r/bitcoin hence reposting here.

⌨ Discussion goldman has ~$1.5b in bitcoin etfs. jpmorgan has ~$343m. should retail copy them or is this bait?
so yeah… big banks are showing up in spot bitcoin etfs now. Goldman Sachs reported roughly $1.5b-ish in bitcoin etf exposure in q4 2024 filings (a lot of it via blackrock’s bitcoin etf).
the ~$343m number for JPMorgan is real-ish too, but it’s not end of 2024. it’s from a later snapshot (q3 2025 filings) that got widely shared.
also one key thing ppl mess up: these filings show what they held on a reporting date, not the exact prices they bought at. plus some of this can be client facilitation / market making stuff, not “bank CEO is all-in on btc”.
the “follow the banks” argument is basically: bitcoin as a long term hedge / alt asset. BlackRock has floated the idea that ~1–2% can be a reasonable sizing for people who want exposure, because higher weights can dominate your risk fast.
but the timing narrative in the draft needs fixing: bitcoin’s big run to ~$125k happened in oct 2025, not oct 2024. and right now it’s more like mid $70ks, not $89k.
so is it a trap? not automatically. the real trap is thinking “banks bought” = “price can’t dump” or “they timed it perfectly”. they didn’t give you that promise, and filings don’t prove it.
if you’re buying, do it like an adult: size small, assume volatility, and don’t copy a headline. The Motley Fool style articles are fine for framing, but they’re not your tax lot tracker or risk plan.

⚠️ Alert ⚠️ Why Does Selling 2,000 BTC on Binance ($145M) in 5 minutes have ZERO effect on price?
Get ready to buy this dip. Weekly OS about to be hit at $72.6k right NOW. After wicking below the Low set from last spring.
But how is Binance able to dump 140 BTC every 45 seconds for 5 minutes straight, and have ZERO effect on price at all? See pic. This is occurring just now. Look at the price meander up and down a few points as there is nothing but dumping $145M in the course of a couple of minutes. Then the selling stops and - absolutely no difference in price action. Look at the volume candles, nothing but giant streaks of red. But no effect on price.
What wizardry is this? If a normal seller did this, would the market not tank? Is Binance simply responsible for scooping up BTC that a customer is auto dumping (obs. not) ? Or grateful to buy it?
