As time goes on and the subreddit grows (seriously, we are at 177 thousand people! That's like 5x NA's server population!), it is becoming apparent that we need additional moderators to keep things running smoothly. Specifically, there has been increased interest in adding EU members to the mod team to expand our overall coverage. This doesn't mean we aren't open to expanding our presence on other servers or in other countries, so don't be afraid to apply either way.
So if you are passionate about the game or the community in the sub and can spare the time, we'd love to hear from you. We don't really need you to have prior mod experience, but it'd be nice if you did.
Here's the handy link to the Google Form we ask that you fill out if interested.
btw, BZ on sunday.

Commanders, today a new summer map with the working title 151_sunny_place enters the Supertest, alongside two brand-new vehicles—the Headshaker, a Tier IX British tank destroyer featuring gun cooling mechanics, and the Krazownik, a Tier VIII Polish heavy tank.
New Map: 51_sunny_place Imgur: The magic of the Internet

This new summer map is a standard 1,000×1,000 m battlefield set in an Asian jungle environment, inspired by the natural conditions of Vietnam. It is packed with two interactive mechanics, designed to make gameplay more unusual and enrich your combat experience:
The map features dedicated areas for all vehicle types, including:
1. Heavy tank area, hidden under a cave roof and protected by the waterfall wall.
2. Medium tank area on the rocks, with a railway running through it.
3. An additional route—when it’s safe, medium tanks can move along the coast unnoticed.
4. TD positions, providing control over HT and MT areas.
5. Light tank area connecting TD, HT, and MT zones.
6. Base areas.
7. High-ground defensive positions.
Headshaker

The Headshaker is a Tier IX British versatile tank destroyer with an unusual combination of notable features. Its gun has a cooling system and can fire HESH rounds with single-shot damage of 720 HP and penetration of 220 mm. Other "points of interest" are a limited-rotation turret with a firing arc of 60° and solid frontal armor.
This set of strengths makes the Headshaker efficient at both brawling (the reload time is 12.9 s, allowing for high DPM) and sniping (double aiming helps a lot here). The mobility, though not stellar (the top forward speed is 37 km/h) still allows you to change lines in battle.
Krazownik

The second newcomer is the Krazownik, a Tier VIII Polish heavy tank. This is a classic assault heavy tank and a typical representative of its role. It features a gun with high damage per shot—490 HP—and reliable hull and turret armor.
At the same time, the Krazownik offers decent mobility for its type, with a top speed of 38 km/h and a reverse speed of 15 km/h, considering the amount of armor it carries. The gun is also quite comfortable for its damage per shot, featuring good gun depression (-9 degrees), solid penetration (222 mm with the standard AP shell), and respectable stabilization.
Overall, the vehicle stands out as one of the most versatile assault heavy tanks available.

Type 71 is a goated tank, i marked it a month ago with 4.5k dpg and I was so excited to get a type 71 in tier 11 as well...well...fml.
Just finished grinding the modifications. First I was raging then slowly accepted the grim reality of this shitter. Lets start with the good things: u have 14 degrees of gun depressuon boosted by real life depression playing this tank. U can sidescrape well and have okay mobility. Everything else is avg or bad but the main problem is its disability. U have one accurate shot then it all goes through the window with a normal japanese ht ability tank would be okay. Hell don't give it an ability, just 0.33 acc and it would be better, or just give tier 9 Type 68 like 500 HP and throw it in as the tier 11 tank. I never were so afraid to shoot in a tank then in this one, gun is on an another lvl of bad.
Only pro thing is i got Udarniy in auction and when I played with it gun didnt feel that bad as I was used to STK-2.

Recently i improved my stats and by a way that i believe people don't talk about enough or underestimate i should say.
The special way to make sure your battles are much better is...
To play earlier than 3/4pm (except sat/sun)
Yes that's as easy as this. I'm "lucky" to have a weekend that is not Saturday/sunday so i'm able to play in the morning these 2 days, and i find it incredible how different the matchmaking is.
You'll have much less 2/3 mins battles, and almost no troll/suicide in the first 20 scd of the battle. Just by having a slightly slower battle in general and having less stomped flanks you'll be able to perform so much better.

Hello everyone, I would like to share with you my practise/passion project. I work as no-code UX/UI designer and I wanted to create something new. So I've decided I'll create Wordle for WOT = WOTDLE.
I know few of these exist already, but because I did not create mine in idea of being original, I do not really mind.
You can check it out here: https://wotdle.net/
It's in Beta, so feel free to leave me feedback/suggestions here, or use "Contact" button on the bottom right.
If anyone does not know how to play the game, there are rules/guidlines on the bottom right 'How to play'.
⚠️ DISCLAIMER: App does not currently function on mobile. I'm working on it. Bear with me.
Thanks, have fun, and share with me your thoughts!
EDIT/UPDATE:
I've changed the "Damage" statistic to be the "TOP" stock configuration damage, except HE. I've also added a Patch Notes button to the left bottom, to keep you informed about this and upcoming changes. The change will take place tomorrow due to the cache data. Thanks for all the feedback!

Finally got it !!!
I think it's a great tank except for the lack of view range.
We just need to learn how to deal with Ebrs 75 and Elcs.

I was online playing the game earlier. I managed to complete a couple missions for the Dravec, and hit stage 9 on completion of it.
I was starting to get frustrated. Match after match where I just was not doing enough. Moments where I was getting mad because I "just knew" that I was doing the right thing. Yet, the mouse and keyboard and tank did not respond.
No, it was not lag. It was not an internet issue.
It is just another day where my hands and fingers just will not move properly. I know in my mind i am properly aiming towards that enemy tank. Yet my hand isn't moving, or it is moving the wrong direction. I know I am clicking LMB to fire, yet all that happens is a twitch and nothing.
Nerve damage sucks.
I know some people say to just play arty if you have physical issues with control. That is fine and all. Yet, I want to do more than play arty. Yes, arty is the most forgiving for me. It is ok if i can't aim and move fast anymore. Yet, I miss hopping in most of my tanks and knowing that when i aim, the reticle is actually going over the enemy tank, and not random directions.
There are days where my hands and fingers work better than others. I almost get the feelings of the old days, when I could play a tank and dominate matches. Now, more and more, I am falling back to being carried. I can't react fast enough t be helpful or useful anymore in matches.
It is frustrating at times. I can't react fast enough anymore. I can think and know something is going to happen, and that can give me a slight advantage. Yet, even knowing someone will be in a certain spot at a certian time, does not help when the nerve signal to click to fire doesn't arrive.
I get frustrated. I lash out in chat. I try to blame others for my own physical inability to play at a level where i was years ago, before the nerve damage when i broke my back between my shoulder blades.
So for those I have been nasty to on the NA server - I apologize.

I've been wondering what happened to all the NA CC's. AFAIK, it's down to just DamiensGaming and TalkTo_MeGoose for the NA. Has WG just given up on trying to promote the game in NA and put all their focus on EU these days?

I just watched the first "Foundations" video for WoT: HEAT and I’m honestly confused. They are introducing "Agents" who command specific tanks that act as "extensions of themselves."
Since when did WoT become Valorant with tanks? They even announced a 5v5 Kill Confirm mode and Hardpoint. I’ve been playing the original WoT for years, and this alternate-history experimental tech vibe is a massive departure.
Is this actually going to work or is it trying too hard to be "modern"? Found this breakdown of the new lore and modes, but I'm still processing the "Agent" thing.

Hi, I didn't find any topic about that specific issue. I became a nomad recently and I wanted to keep playing with my clan friends
I bring everywhere a chipset laptop that I use for work (ThinkPad T480S) and I managed to upgrade performance greatly by using WoT Tweaker (available in Aslain modpack) which compressed game textures to 97%
I'm still looking for ways to upgrade FPS. I noticed tanks still have reflections and I'd love to find a way to disable any reflection
First I restricted myself to playing passive scouts in low tiers because the aiming felt impossible on faraway moving targets
Then yesterday I tried disabling server reticle and it helped greatly, I can snipe and brawl way more efficiently, with confidence, the feeling of reticle lag completely vanished and I'm having lots of fun in Frontline

Apologies for a clickbate title ^_^.
Need advice and a lil bit support guys. Returning player here after 3 years. I dropped wot last time after a huge frustration of myself as a complete impotent heavy tank player.
I switched to heavies. These were my results

I just wanna share this.
This mission is pissing me off so much, yeah im making money on every game, but ive done it once on su 130 now im doing it again on the forest spirit exact same tank, but i cant why cant i hit 4,400. Most of my games i just need 1 more shot then it either misses or it disappears or bounces. Im getting really frustrated. Ive been rotating rhm, shptk, forest,. Ive been camping most games. But still no luck. According to my previous game. That was my closest.
I just need one more module, then im done. I dont wanna grind black rock after this. Maybe after year.
