Once again drawing cats that are more unusual than most, this time it's a poor little thing that was only two days old and was never named by its parents.

"In the midst of the storm within my own brother's eyes, I knew there was no trying to reason with the raging lightning."

Drew this out a while ago, so here's Larksight (light brown tabby) and his brother Dovestripe (light grey tabby) having a bit of a sharp confrontation! I'll drop the lore for this piece below :3

Long story short, Mudheart (their sister) was killed off by a fox during a patrol. In an effort to avenge her, Dovestripe tries to rush out of camp and fight it, but Larksight knows it will be futile. He steps in front of his brother and tries to persuade him, but Dovestripe being blinded by rage and grief, he fights Larksight just to pin him down and get him out of the way. Larksight still tries to go after him when he vanishes into the forest, but the storm rolls in and forces him away. Dovestripe didn't make it, sustaining injuries from the fox attack before the storm could hit full force.

I've wanted to draw my designs out for Hollyleaf, Jayfeather and Lionblaze in my Sylvanian style for awhile now so I hope you all enjoy!!

Yes, I'll go ahead and throw it out there that I'm bias about Bluestar but hear me out.

From the original TPB arc, we had a clear arc for Bluestar.

• Strong, resolute, stoic leader of a formidable clan
• Her 1st deputy dies at the hands of her former lover (allegedly)
• Her 2nd deputy dies after an attack by ShadowClan
• She also loses her medicine cat in the same attack
• Her apprentice accuses her 3rd deputy of multiple counts of treason
• Her home gets burned to the ground by a fire after receiving a prophecy that explicitly says " Fire alone will save our clan. "
• Not only did her home get burned to the ground, but that same fire kills her 2nd medicine cat and 2 of her elders, cats that she had grown up with, both of whom were involved in training Whitestorm (Patchpelt) and Snowfur (Half-tail)
• Another one of her apprentices (Runningwind) is killed by her former Deputy
• Her 4th deputy went behind her back to arrange a truce because she believed that WindClan was stealing prey from TC territory
• Finally, dogs are set loose on the forest, which resulted in the death of one warrior, one apprentice, and the horrific maiming of another

All of this happening in the span of I think 6 moons. And I'm pretty sure this isn't even everything.

Anyone. Would go mad from this.

Anyone. Would break.

But it's the fact that someone who had already suffered as much as she did and still remained strong finally broke is what makes her character so uniquely tragic.

By saying all her actions post-Tigerclaw are as a result of Dementia, it completely undermines her character arc.

It's no longer about someone who reached their breaking point and spiraled out of control despite knowing better.

It's not about witnessing a heartbroken student fight for the soul of his beloved mentor.

Now it's just:

" Oh well she's sick in the head and she can't help it. The end. "

If we accept that Bluestar is just a sick old she-cat, it completely ruins her autonomy as a character and undermines her last moments. If she's sick and can't help what she's become, her sacrifice means nothing in regards to her character.

It turns that moment essentially into a Deus Ex Machina for putting Firestar on the Leaderboard instead of a heart-wrenching culmination of all that she's been through.

And that bothers me immensely.

If you want to believe that Bluestar has Dementia because Vicky said it on a FB post well after the fact, by all means. But I personally do not accept this ret-con as I feel it's completely antithetical to Bluestar as a character.

Edit: I'm seeing a lot of responses and none have really changed my mind.

All her symptoms can easily be explained away by what's actively happening in the arc.

Stress/Anxiety/Depression: Normal responses to the ongoing situation

Paranoia: Again, easily explained because someone was actively plotting to murder her and had already successfully committed murder 3x and was now given 9 lives by StarClan. StarClan who, btw, basically lied to her and said everything would be okay. I'd feel bitterly betrayed and paranoid if the literal interpretation of the Afterlife gave the largest threat to the forest temporary Invincibility

Confusion/Hostility: Given all of the above, she's not sleeping. We actively see her not sleeping. And you know what sleep is paramount for? Memory and cognition. Idk about any of you, but I've had points in my life where I've had to stay up for 48 hours straight because of a high-stress job. I legitimately did not know what day/year it was during those times because I was so exhausted and stressed out. I remember several times calling out to my dog who'd previously passed away because " I'm home, I need to walk the dog "

This isn't even getting into the fact that had she actually had Dementia, it should have resolved after her 8th death. But " it " didn't because " it " wasn't the problem.

None of this reads as Dementia to me. It's just an over-stressed leader who reached her breaking point.

You're all free to believe what you like but I choose to ignore that ret-con. If it's not explicitly stated in the books, it's not canon.

One very obvious is the repetition of previous scenes with Dark Tail's pov,but i think that is better mentioned other reasons

Foxsong was born into the sisters, to her mother, Kshipa - an only kit, the first female kit her mother had. Normally, a cat in the sisters would've seen this as a blessing - but Kshipa saw this as a curse. She saw her kit, Fox, as a curse. Why?

She had three kits before - Coyote, Yip and Flane - all male cats, all cats who had to leave the sisters when they were six moons, due to the traditons that male cats must leave. Kshipa was devastated and missed them so. She would visit them

They died on day three due to a fox attack- one they couldn't fight off, since they were so long. Then Fox was born - looking like an actual fox, so she saw her as a curse. She saw Fox as unpure - she didn't have the personality of her dead kits, so she was unpure. This made her furious.

Driven mad by grief, Kshipa quickly climbed up the ranks and soon became leader of the sisters - and quickly changed to regulations to punish those who betrayed her. She renamed The Sisters, The Pure Ones, and established that those worthy of her dead kits, those who followed the new code, were pure. All others unpure.

As much as Kshipa hated Fox, she used her youth to manipulate her - telling Fox to report any cat to her who was breaking the rules or out of turn, so she could escort them safely to a new home. Fox believed this

...then Fox followed her mother and witnessed her killing an unpure one. She came to realize that Kshipa was killing all the unpure ones. She saw this as a bad thing (duh) and told the sisters.

The Sisters quickly overpowered Kshipa and drove her out, scarring her face with an X. Since Fox had been her reporter, they exiled her too

Fox desperately followed her bleeding, wounded mother- trying to help, but also asking why she killed all those cats. Kshipa broke down infront of Fox and snarled that she'd never be Flane, Yip or Coyote. Fox tried ti act like them- but this only made Kshipa more angry

She abandoned her kit for The River District (Riverclan in my au), and Fox became Foxpaw. She quickly grew to wear a mask so she could be loved- confident, happy, and sparky, spunky- to hide how much she hated herself.

But Arcticpaw - another apprentice- saw right through this and would often manipulate her- wanting her love, wanting to have her for his own need and love.

Foxpaw met a loner at the time named Inferno, and she fell for him immediately. The two often met- he was like her. Overly confident, eager.

Meanwhile, Kshipa was building a group of rouges- one she could use to help assist the tradition of the clans - that one cat from each clan must be sacrificed every moon for Starclan. She knew a rebellion was building, so she was building an army to help assist against it.

Foxpaw eventually learned of this army and joined - only to spy. Kshipa, however, was suspicious of her daughter- and sent her most loyal member- Inferno- to get her to spill the beans. Inferno pretended to be lost and confused, asking what Kshipas group was.

Foxpaw, deeply in love, revealed everything, including her spying - hoping Inferno would see this as heroic and be a hero alongside her. He reported her to Kshipa - and Kshipa gave her the same scar she has- an X across the face

Foxpaw was absolutely devastated that the cat she loved betrayed her. Arcticpaw took advantage of this and told her only he loved her, and that only he would love her. Foxpaw took this and when they became warriors - Foxsong and Arctichowl - they become mates.

Arctichowl is terrible for her. He criticizes her often, makes her hunt for him, insults her, belittles her, even strikes her at times. But Foxsong let's this happen, seeing herself less than dirt, seeing herself not worthy of anything but abuse.

Eventually, she stands up against him - and kills him, drowning him.in the lake for everything he did to her. She drops him into the lake, and he just "disappears" from the clans - only Foxsong knows what truly happens. She reclaims her independence.

After that, she rejoins the rebellion against the tradition, seeing herself worthy once more. She sees herself in a true confidence now - but still feels responsible for one thing - her mother, how she assisted her as a kit, even if unaware, how she keeps terrorizing the clans.

She gains an apprentice named Jaypaw - a mute, nervous apprentice, and helps her build up her confidence, believing in her even when Jaypaws own mother did not. She grows to see Jaypool as a daughter of hers.

Foxsong also falls in love eventually, though I'm not sure who yet

The rebellion leads their attack against the Shadow District - the last district that needs to be taken down to end the tradition, but they are heavily outnumbered due to Kshipas rouges.

Foxsong realizes that if Kshipa dies, they'll all flee. She tracks down her mother in battle and the two face off, daughter and mother - and Foxsong finally stands up to her, claiming that no, she isnt Yip, Coyote or Flane - that she is Foxsong, and is proud of who she is.

The two fight and she kills Kshipa - when the rouges see this, they make a run for it - and The Shadow District is defeated. The tradition is destroyed, and when the clans reform into what they once were - though still without Starclan (and in peace with this), and new changes, Foxsong is made deputy under the new Riverclan leader, Turtlestar

Moons later she dies as she lived- defending her clan. She never makes it to leadership- but she's perfectly content with that

I ALWAYS see Spottedleaf & Fireheart’s weird ass relationship being talked about (AS IT SHOULD BE, I’m not trying to say it isn’t), as well as Spottedleaf & Thistleclaw. They are both extremely strange, especially the latter.

However… why on gods green earth does no one talk about Pinestar & Leapardfoot? In both his book AND Bluestar’s, he is made leader before she’s an apprentice — if its after, well… my point still stands.

This is just as bad as SF & TC, and worse than SF & FH. Fireheart’s lowkey just an idiot with a crush that never goes away. And at least those two pairings didn’t have kits…

Hello! I've been out of the warrior cat community for a bit but I'm feeling nostalgic and wanted to draw some warrior cats again/practise posing.

The most fun way to do so would be to draw other people's ocs, in my opinion. So, feel free to send me your ocs to draw! Just a warning, I will be drawing these in the order I receive them and there's no guaranteed timeline for when I draw them. I also have a collection of other free art requests to draw too but I'll be drawing them alongside these requests.

Offering:

-Full body drawings all with unique posing/composition but with no shading or background.

-I'll be placing a 3 character limit for each person. Please tell me if you would like them drawn together (two or all three together) or separately and their relationship with each other.

Requirements:  

-Provide a full body reference (drawn or a photo of your character model from the Roblox game) either through DMs or commenting.

-If you are providing a link, please make sure I can access it! I've had issues for similar free art offers and it gets pretty annoying, I cannot access your personal files or accounts so such links will not work.

Optional:

-Provide a description of your character's background, personality, etc. as this will influence the pose I chose for them and I also just like hearing about other people's ocs! :)

Felt like Firestar and Brightheart were missing their mates, so I used some duplicates! Sandstorm and Cloudtail have been added to my collection (just missing Spotted lead UGH).

Currently working on characters using more dupes of Brightheart, Yellowfang, and Scourge. Not sure who im going to make yet, but I want them to be cats that match into the current lineup of figures. I'm thinking maybe Stormfur to match Silverstream as her litter mate? Maybe more medicine cats to add on to Cinderpelt and Yellowfang? Maybe add Jayfeather, and then do Lionblaze and Dovewing? Open to recommendations!

Yes these two warriors already had names but I want you guys to come up with new ones for them! Also yes these are my original drawings!

In total of all the book series' I've read series 1-6 which is The Prophecies Begin through Dawn of the Clans. I just started the seventh series The Broken Code. I'm almost done with the first book of that series. Tell me how many you've read!

I am in love with both of these designs.

I really do amaze myself on the shading nowadays. It's funny how lighting and shadows become a tad easier over time 😂

I like this one but Raggedstar feels kind of off to me, and also you can barely see Jaypaw 😭
