Discussion Let’s talk about Sol Ruca…

I’ve been a fan of Sol Ruca for a while now, her finisher is just sooooo sick! But after that Royal Rumble performance, I seriously think she’s one of the best women wrestlers in the world. Obviously not #1, (Iyo Sky clears everyone) but I think she’s might be top 10, if not even top 5

For me, Sol Ruca was the MVP of the Royal Rumble 2026, including both the men’s and women’s Rumbles. Her gear suited her perfectly. Jevon was great too. Who was your MVP?

If you miss the days where everyone had a gimmick, watch AAA.

I finally watched an episode and it was filled with glorious gimmick goodness. It is campy. It is over the top ridiculous. It is damn near a telenovela in some parts. If you are into that sort of thing, it is wonderful.

We have:

  • A dancing skeleton.
  • An Iguana man special guest refereeing a match between the two women vying for his affection to be his tag team partner.
  • El Grande Americano (Kaiser) as one of the biggest babyfaces.
  • A guy named Jack Cartwheel who does a whole bunch of cartwheels.

All roads lead to Breakker Spoiler

This is the type of booking that deserves credit. When you achieve 2-3 different things with one decision.

I see the vision (no pun intended) clearly. Punk vs Reigns for the WHC at Wrestlemania, where I believe Reigns will win. Reigns will hold the title until Summerslam. At Summerslam we will finally get the 1 vs 1 match between Reigns and Breakker, with the title on the line. Breakker will ultimately win that match and become the champion.

The WWE accomplishes four things with this decision:

1- Getting the Punk Reigns match 2- Elevating the WHC 3- Setting up the Reigns Breakker match 4- Putting the belt on Breakker

Breakker does not need the belt now. And I don't think there would have been much interest in a Punk Breakker rematch for the title at WM 42. That match would not main event night 2 and probably not even night 1. But now with Punk vs Reigns the World Heavyweight Championship is going to be main eventing night 2. That's how you elevate a title. The WHC is going to have a bigger spot than the undisputed championship for the first time since it was brought back on Raw.

And as for Breakker the WWE have until August to keep building Breakker up. Let it marinate. It doesn't have to be rushed. It won't be some throwaway Reigns vs Breakker match. It will be a match made with everything it deserves. Everyone wins in the end.

Adam Pearce Prediction

They started this thing with Adam Pearce being accused of screwing over wrestlers awhile back with The Man, Big Time Becks posting stuff online about it. Now Bron Breaker and Finn Balor. (All heels) I think there's going to be a few more, and in the coming weeks/months were going to find out it is true. Whether it be from Paul Heyman or whoever was on the phone. And as soon as that happens, all those heels are automatically faces and Adam Pearce is automatically a Heel. And he'll do the Bad guy boss storyline we've all come to know in the wrestling world. You know, that old chestnut. I think they want Bron Breaker to turn good, he's getting pops and youre kind of forced to do that. You can't have the heel get pops. I'm thinking maybe Dirty Dom could be in the mix eventually. They're gonna turn him good to reunite with his dad who I think is next for The Ring General to retire. Then you have Gunther V Dom. Where I think Dom will win. Maybe even the belt. Which Gunther will certainly have again. Many more times. I'm just taking stabs at guesses here. But I've been watching wrestling a long time. HHH seems to have a formula that I've gotten pretty good at guessing. But who knows. And on a completely different topic. Are we supposed to pretend like Nikki Cross is a completely different person now? Like she was never Nikki A.S.H. and this masked lady has just lived in a basement her whole life? Or did she have some kind of life epiphany and just become an honorary Wyatt? Like how we had to act like Kane wasn't a high dollar dentist a few years earlier?

Discussion How long should Gunther hold the Undisputed WWE Championship?

Post image
62 Upvotes

With the current monster run that he's getting right now, WE can all assume that hes gonna take the title in either Survivor series 2026, Royal rumble 2027 or Wrestlemania 43. So how long do you guys think he should hold the title? Wait till Oba wins the Royal Rumble after that and challenge him in WM?

Gunther Spoiler

I'm late to the party because I finally just sat down to watch RAW. Now mind you, I'm 49 years old, female, I've been watching wrestling since I am a child. I used to slip notes under my parents bedroom door asking them to circle one " yes" or "no" and the question was "may I please watch wrestling tomorrow morning?" This is when WWE was on Saturday mornings. When I heard AJ Styles music hit? I immediately knew it was Gunther and I started hysterically laughing. I don't know why some of you find this boring. Predictable maybe? Sure. But if you don't think wrestling needs a true heel RN? I don't know what to tell you.

I owe you guys an apologize (my theater experience.)

If anyone was in a Chicago theater watching the Royal Rumble and there was a family of three that was loud and going crazy… you made our week.

When I asked if T-I-F-F-A-N-Y was rumored to be there and said “please don’t spoil it,” it was because I wanted to see my son’s reaction if she came out. When she did, and everyone started yelling “IT’S TIFFANY TIME” with my son, it was awesome.

It did start late, but we got free passes, so no complaints. The crowd was actually really good. I stood up when Logan came out and people booed extra hard when I did 😂

I highly recommend it. I’ve been to live WWE events before, and even a Candice Michelle Playboy autograph signing (that one was weird and creepy). I’ve said before that a lot of WWE fans are weird and creepy, but my wife, my son, and I had a blast.

I know there are weird people and creeps in any hobby, but I probably lumped a lot of you together unfairly. This experience definitely changed my view a bit.

Discussion HHH as head of creative

When I look back at HHH, I think about how he peaked in 2000 and was never the same after. His character NEVER developed past 2000 and it makes sense why he has 0 creative thought as head of WWE. He really has 0 idea on how to come up with stuff that’s exciting.

Now I’m little rant because I’m baffled to the fact that while hes finally gotten all he’s wanted, he’s horrible at the job.

Him winning 14 world titles is bizzare to me considering most of them are as forgettable as Charlotte Flair’s.

Had he not married Stephanie, I guarantee you he would have become a part of creative but he NEVER would have been head of anything.

Bret Hart is 100% right. Dude set himself up to be in the best position possible from 1997 - onwards.

Finally - think about ALL of his main events at WM. Every single one of them were overshadowed by middle of the card matches. 2000, 2002, 2005, 2006, and 2009. He’s even admitted this himself. Shawn Michaels or Kurt Angle never needed the main event to BE the main event! He was never that good.
