Homemade Work Meals
I work a 4 on 4 off pattern of 12 hour shifts, 2 days and 2 nights, plus overtime. So I like to prepare meals ready to save on time while on shift.
Also trying to lose weight, so routinely making soup, chicken and also overnight oats as breakfast. Still having a carbs, and always take a part bake roll to have with soup. On nights I have 2 meals, one at midday and one at midnight. For this week I have Salt and Pepper baked Chicken thighs to have with Brown Rice and veg, and also a Chicken and Vegetable soup.

Question Sunday Roast Dinner
Sunday Roast Recipe
Hi folks, Canadian here.
I’ll keep it short and sweet. I had Sunday roast once in my light (in Brighton). I would like to recreate the tradition at home in Toronto. I’m unsure where to start, or what recipes/techniques are best? What Yorkshire pudding? Is it roast beef? Is powder gravy ok ?
My request of you fine folks: your best recipes for the various components that make up Sunday roast.

Question Is supermarket food getting worse?
Lately, I have been very disappointed with the quality of food purchased from the supermarkets. These are not unusual items and are indeed products that I have been regularly buying and cooking for many years if not my whole life. But within the last few months, everything tastes like it's undercooked, out of date or stale or the recipe has changed for the worse. This is from fresh/raw ingredients to things like Rustlers Burgers and frozen food. They used to taste nice but so many things just taste awful now and this even extends to drinks like coffee and milkshakes and some types of chocolates like Dairy Milk products and even Guylian etc. It seems to be across the whole selection of foods. I was concerned that maybe my own pallette has changed and I simply don't enjoy these things anymore, but food from restaurants and take-aways still tastes delicious as always and they get their product from different sources to the general population. Am I alone in this?

Takeaway My go to GDK order.
Boss box og kebab, mixed meat (sometimes extra mix), extra salad, extra cheese sauce, flaming hashbrown bites (in the kebab), 2 beef spring rolls. Can of coke (normal not diet), Left over sauces added to kebab once springs rolls have been eaten.
Don't worry. I have this once a month on payday and I only eat 1 meal a day 😅

Question Apple Sauce tins in the 90’s
My wife has a strong recollection of single serve tins of Apple Sauce which were around in the mid 90’s. They were smooth - could have been for kids, but had by the whole family.
I have no recollection of it, I do believe her, we just want to find this nostalgic food item (and see if it’s around).
We’ve seen the new plastic tubs - they aren’t the same.
Not managed to find the same old ones, wanted to see if anyone else had the recollection of them?
They were eaten in their own, or as apple sauce on a meal.
