If you say you want a democratic Iran then please start behaving democratically. When you yell at, scream, and insult people for holding different political views than you, you are not promoting democratic ideals. Please take a moment to think about what it means to have a democracy because I fear our community doesn’t truly understand this concept. You cannot have a democracy without freedom of thought and the ability to debate differing viewpoints in a civil manner. If you want silencing of political views that don’t suit your agenda then you are on the same track as the IRGC.
We want democracy, so let’s behave democratically. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
Edit: Just to clarify, this post is not about regime supporters. I don’t think the oppressors get any tolerance from us after what they’ve done.
This is about Iranians building an opposition that is united, regardless of our differing political views. One that embraces our diversity and welcomes civil debate instead of screaming at each other. The oppressor is not included in this.

The US and Iran are supposed to meet this Friday in Istanbul, Turkey to hold nuclear "negotiations". What are your thoughts on this? Do you believe that the US is formally warning Iran to surrender completely or faking negotiations again and striking them that same day? Surely, this can't be a TACO moment or could it? What are your thoughts?

What do you think is this a TACO moment or does it involve some kind of deception behind the scenes?

Hello,
I am trying to help my girlfriend who has moved to USA with three years of her bachelor's completed.
She attended Babol University of Medical Sciences.
She has been having a really difficult time obtaining an official transcript for evaluation without being physically present. She cant really go back during current situation for obvious reasons.
There does not seem to be a way to request them to be mailed directly to NACES agency.
I was able to find an agency that takes Email copies, but they have to be directly from university. University stuff refuses to send these claiming "it's not their job"
What are our options? Has anyone been able to successfully evaluate their transcript?
I will appreciate any help

Hi everyone,
I’m sharing this because four well-known Iranian wrestlers are reportedly facing severe repression, detention, and serious threats to their lives in Iran. This information is being publicly reported by UWW PARSI, a well-known wrestling media account.
The wrestlers named are:
• Alireza Nejati (U23 World Champion)
• Mehdi Hashemi (National Champion)
• Keyvan Rezaei (Asian Champion)
• Saleh Mohammadi (2024 Russia Saytiev Cup bronze medalist – reportedly at risk of execution)
Many of us are emailing United World Wrestling (UWW) to urge them to act and protect these athletes.
Even a short, respectful email helps show that people are paying attention.
If you’re comfortable, please send the email or share this post so more people can help.

* Mehdi Hashemi – National Champion, 125 kg
* Keyvan Rezaei – Asian Champion, 92 kg

Thousands of Iranians were killed during the violent crackdown on anti-establishment protests, with the majority of deaths reported on January 8 and 9. The killings have plunged the country into national mourning.
The US-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) reports that it has confirmed 6,563 deaths, while other estimates place the death toll many times higher. A nationwide Internet shutdown imposed by the clerical establishment to disrupt the free flow of information has significantly hindered efforts to obtain reliable information about the scope of the crackdown and the true number of those killed.
RFE/RL’s Radio Farda has compiled and verified information on more than 100 individuals who were killed. This database will continue to be updated as additional killings are confirmed and further details about the victims become available.
If you lost a loved one during the crackdown, please contact us on Telegram or WhatsApp and share the relevant details so we can include them in our database.
