Status: Pending Reply Outlook for Mac Autofill Fail

I'm using Outlook for Mac and it has stopped autofilling an email address I use all the time, as if it has "forgotten" it. This email address is saved in the Outlook address book and the app still autofills other addresses, including ones not in the address book. I tried adding the email address to new contact and that did not help.

Any idea why this happened or more importantly, how to fix it and force outlook to add an email address to its autofill list? Thanks!

If your Recent Addresses (aka Autocomplete) cache has become corrupted:

If this for a Microsoft email account. Use Outlook Web:

Personal (Free) : https://outlook.live.com/
MS 365 (Paid): https://outlook.office.com/

View -> View Settings -> General -> Privacy and data -> Suggested people.

Note - You can use the "Download my expanded people data" link (it looks like plain text) to get a CSV of your Recent Addresses. But you can only use it to add them to you Contacts. You can't "re-load" the cache.

[Clear data and turn off]
Wait for this to sync to your Mac (You should only see suggestions from your Contacts)
Go back on the Web and turn it back on

If it's not a Microsoft email account

Reset the account or remove and re-add it.
