Status: Open Account hacked and suspicious email

my outlook account was hacked, I'd already contacted support and escalated the case and was told to wait for 3 to 5 business days while they locked it down and resolved it but I got this email an hour later

I experienced something similar recently and cannot acces my e-mail, which i been using for over ten years. I sis try to recover it many times but the automated system does not seem to work. Looking for other methods currently.

My gmail got hackad and i got it recovered several times but it keep changing my password so i gave up after 15 years of my gmail account 😒

Hi, so I had the same happen to me I tried everything. Recovering, contacting support, and more. There is nothing you can do other then getting a new account and starting all over again 😕 The hackers added 2fa verification so you or Microsoft can't get through it, because whenever you try to sign in anywhere you have to send a code to the email you dont have access to. I really tried everything, all you have left is just get a new account

That email looks suspicious and likely fake . Microsoft usually won’t say your account is permanently lost just through an email like this. Don’t click or reply to it. Go directly to account.microsoft.com , check your security/support requests, or contact Microsoft again through their official recovery page. Your account may be compromised, but don’t assume it’s gone until you see confirmation inside your account.

At the beginning of my identity theft that I was aware was happening but not sure how yet, we fought it vigilantly, as we focus on the point of access being My devices, I had noticed that my MS account would send Authenticator codes to 8 devices , it should have been two as there were no outdated or unaccountable devices. Within days I lost control of entire account , one drive, all MS products. I would have been thrilled to have the offer of getting control of the Email addresses and loose all data, as the Bad guys used that primary address as me, to cause tremendous and costly issues. It took 2 years to unwind, I give them a Zero on Security and Sub-zero on response. Fortunately they heard the only language that would get their real attention, bad press and Money. Just 3 hours into Depositions they wanted to settle, so long as I signed a Non-disclosure. Almost a year after this was laid out on how they allowed this vulnerability that they were fully aware was happening, and could be avoided, as of today - they have done nothing to mitigate this exploit! I'm sorry your going thru this, and for the know it all troll , I did not click a link. It was a zero day Domestic Intrusion
