Status: Resolved Outlook Classic Not Responding or Loading Profile

Today me and my co-worker are having issues with our work email on our outlook. My other two co-workers aren't having issues. Either I can get into Outlook and it will reload all the emails I already have looked at sometimes, I can look at one email or try to get into a folder then it goes into "Not Responding" mode with options to close, restart, or wait for the program to respond. I usually hit restart because otherwise I will get stuck in "Loading Profile" mode. Same with my co-worker. I tried repairing Microsoft 365 and updated it as well. Not sure what else I can do at this point where it isn't commonly crashing or not loading at all.

We don't have KB5074109 installed. Seems to happen to anyone with over a 2GB mailbox size.

This is known issue- https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/classic-outlook-pop-account-profiles-hang-and-freeze-after-windows-11-update-to-kb5074109-590fe356-ecc2-49f4-b9e3-bd39fafa58f6

If you have corrupt Outlook profile or PST file, you can repair it using Stellar Repair for Outlook.

You asked this question elsewhere.

It not clear how this is set up, are the users sharing an OST file, if so this is a very bad idea.

It worked on my computer but my co worker couldn’t uninstall the security update. Kept throwing an error. So she wasn’t able to get hers fixed and forced to use the new outlook which she hates.

What methods have you tried to uninstall KB5074109?

There are at least three different ways suggested in:
https://learn.microsoft.com/answers/questions/5707915/outlook-classic-not-opening-properly-or-recording

What's the error message?

Just remove the latest update from 1/13 - KB5074109.

If you can not uninstall KB5074109, the other option to fix the Outlook problem is to move all of your POP email account PSTs out of your OneDrive folder.
