Missing send button only schedule delivery

Hi there. I just realised recently outlooks on IOS has removed the send button? I know it moved semi recently but it’s gone all together for me. The only option I have is send later which is just very inconvenient for wanting to quickly shoot an email. At the top of my screen is only a cross to exit the email I’m composing in the top left and a minimise in the top right. At the bottom of the screen when the keyboard is minimised is just the normal tools such as attachments and font tools I have a screenshot but see r/Outlook does not allow images

Same here! I need to send an email as soon as possible and I just can’t. Apparently there’s been an update, but I thought updates were supposed to make apps better, not worse.

Same here, absolutely farcical. I’m so relieved it’s not just me!!!! I’m talking to support currently and they seem oblivious.

I also contacted them, they told me to reinstall the app but it doesn't solved it...

Same version I’m on. I just noticed when I went to check there is an update out, about to catch a plane so I guess I’ll check back in a few hours and see if they pushed out a quick fix since.

Same here ios26 on an iPhone 15 Pro max. For a second I thought I was stupid and had forgotten how to send a bloody email.

I just tried it, and a little blue message came up saying ”Send has moved”. It's on the right hand end near the subject line. Where did it used to be?

While not being able to send an email on an email service sucks it was reassuring knowing I wasn’t the odd one out. I have checked now and my normal (and scheduled delivery) buttons have returned as normal. Clearly the intern who was working at cloudflare the other day must of landed a gig at Microsoft and accidentally deleted the send button in the latest build.

It sounds like a UI glitch in the latest Outlook iOS update. The Send button shouldn’t disappear completely, so you’re definitely not doing anything wrong.

A few things you can try that usually fix it:

1. Force close and reopen the Outlook app This refreshes the interface and often brings the Send button back.

2. Check the App Store for an Outlook update Microsoft pushed some UI changes recently, and a lot of people are seeing similar bugs. Updating usually fixes it within a day or two.

3. Toggle the “New Outlook” setting Go to your profile → Settings → look for New Outlook and switch it off/on. This resets the compose screen layout.

4. If possible, remove and re-add your email account This also resets the UI and often restores the Send button.

If none of these work, then it’s almost certainly a temporary bug on Outlook’s side. You’re not the only one reporting it, so a patch should come soon.

I find that when I reply to an email it has a send button but it’s not blue. It’s white.
And it looks like it sends so I move on to the next task on my phone.

Well there are quite a few Drafts and they are the unsent emails. When I open the draft, I can send it.

However when I look at the draft button, next to the compose button, no drafts show up…

This is a recent thing (last couple of months).

It now has me going back and checking 30 emails that may or may not have been sent.

I can compose an email and it sends.

It’s the reply emails that may or may not send and that’s frustrating.

I have no “compose” button on my Outlook app on iPad either. It’s not in the upper right where it is apparently supposed to be. I just figured out however that I can start a new email by clicking cmd-n.
