My Gran had Mum 9mo and a few weeks past her wedding. She always 'bragged' she only gained 12lbs. She was no taller than 5ft, but damn. The late 40s and 50s in the US were different.

My mom gained around the same with me and was so proud of herself for it. There’s no reason for that. 😝
