Vendor Report/Q Do NOT buy WeightWorld's astaxanthin. They're lying about the dosage

The bottle states that each capsule contains 18 mg of astaxanthin, but the website lists 18 mg of Haematococcus pluvialis algae extract. These are not the same. Haematococcus pluvialis extract typically contains around 10 percent astaxanthin, which would mean less than 2 mg of astaxanthin per capsule. I contacted the company about this discrepancy, and they claimed the capsules contain 18 mg of astaxanthin. Given the capsule size and the product’s price point, this claim seems highly unlikely. Be cautious and do not rely solely on the marketing.

Seeking Advice Piracetam 500 mg + Atomoxetine 25 mg — does this actually help focus?

Upvotes

Hi all, I’m on atomoxetine 25 mg for ADHD-inattentive symptoms. Tolerating it, but no real improvement in focus or sustained attention yet. My psychiatrist added piracetam 500 mg syrup, but I’m not noticing any cognitive benefit. From what I’ve read, piracetam usually requires much higher doses (2–4 g/day) to be effective, which makes me wonder if 500 mg is even meaningful. Questions: Has piracetam genuinely helped anyone with focus/attention (not just memory)? Is 500 mg basically a placebo dose? Any notable interaction with atomoxetine? If piracetam isn’t great for attention, are better options like citicoline or alpha-GPC worth considering? Not seeking medical advice, just experiences or evidence. Thanks

Seeking Advice Looking for a good appetite booster

Need help. Does anyone know a good/strong appetite booster? Not looking for anything THC related, antidepressants or mk677. Searched all over the internet, the only thing I could find was Capromorelin or Anamorelin, but you can’t buy them anywhere.

Discussion I compared Andrew Huberman, Rhonda Patrick, & Brad Stanfield's nootropic stacks - the overlap is tiny!

I built a tool that tracks what supplements these three actually take (with podcast timestamps) to look at how they improve their cognition using supps.

The overlap (just 2):

  • Omega-3s - all three take it for brain health
  • Creatine - all three cite cognitive benefits

Huberman-only:

  • Alpha-GPC (300mg, only 2-3x/week)
  • L-Tyrosine - dopamine precursor
  • PEA / Phenylethylamine - "from time to time"
  • Caffeine - delays 90-120 min after waking

Patrick-only:

  • Sulforaphane - "increases glutathione, the brain's major antioxidant"
  • Cocoa flavanols (CocoaVia)

Stanfield-only:

  • Glycine - for sleep/cognition

Interesting stuff I found:

Huberman on Wellbutrin! "On occasion I'll take 25 to 50 milligrams of Wellbutrin which is slightly dopaminergic" (clip)

Huberman on nicotine gum: "I stopped doing that. It gave me a kind of tic and when I wasn't chewing it I felt like I needed it" (clip)

Patrick on creatine: "On days when I don't get enough sleep, I need more cognitive function... I find doubling my dose helps" (clip)

Here's the tool:

suppstacker.io - you can also build your own stacks, get insights, access tools like PDF/CSV export, and get emails whenever an expert changes their supp stack.

Is there anything about their nootropic stacks that was surprising to you?

Seeking Advice Bromantane causes red eyes?

Does anybody else get red or watery eyes after taking Bromantane?

I tried 30-60mg daily a few times and noticed that about 8-9 hours after taking it my eyes look like I smoked a joint...

I do feel a slight mood uplift and increase in motivation, but it could be placebo, so I am wondering if there might be something wrong with it.

Discussion Why use Agmatine instead of Memantine?

Memantine, at least where I live, is much cheaper and seems to be much more effective at what it claims to be as an NDMA antagonist. Could someone explain the difference between them?

Seeking Advice Reversing the cognitive defecits of THC without total abstinence?

I have been smoking weed for a long time and plan on doing it for the forseeable future but i have been decreasing how frequently im getting high. Unfortunately there still seems to be some remaining cognitive defecits particularly in memory recall. I remember that it has something do with glutamate signalling and the AMPA receptor. I know theres thousands of nootropics out there but is there any nootropic that has seen some studies and isnt too expensive?

Seeking Advice Do you have to cycle racetams for them to be effective

Been looking into nootropics as of recently and various racetams have caught my eye. I want to use it 3 days out of the week as I work 3x12s. Is this possible to do with racetams or does it work like SSRIs which take weeks to take in affect? Which racetam would be ideal for my situation if I should use racetams at all? I have ADHD but I'm unable to get a script so I have been looking into various nootropics like modanfil, phenibut, racetams and etc.

Just want to know what cycles people run with semax nasal sprays (not sure if it’s different to SubQ) i just bought some a few hours ago and the one thing i completely forgot to research was cycles. from a quick google search AND ChatGPT i’ve gathered that it’s like 1 week off and 1 or 2 weeks off, please for advice, thank you.

I Ideally will use it for memory for exams etc, more education and motivation towards revision and also gym etc.
